I hosted my website with Design Raptors for 3 years. End of last year they reached out to me for renewal. I expressed that I would not renew and wanted my source files for my website. Hello,I purchased a maintenance web package from the company. I spoke to ****** and *****. When I did not receive the service I wanted. I requested the company to send my webspages password and information so I can have someone from my team do the work. I reached out several times over a month. Finally after threatening to report them to BBB they sent a password to my webpage. I have the password and admin information to another company to do the work. However, the company informed me that the information had limited access and they were unable to do any revisions because Designs Raptor locked my webpage so another company could it do the work. I tarted to work with this company July 6th, 2023 I hired them to build a website and was promised unlimited changes as well as delivery of a functional website within 4 weeks. It is November and I had to switch to a different developer ( was able to get a credit for web design in the amount of $500.00 ) as they couldn't deliver functional product, In September when I was assured all my concerns will be addressed they offered me a deal for a server which cost me $1260.00 for 3 years - they set up my company email on it and connected customer forms to it - since day one we had issues accessing - sending- receiving email - they attempted to fix the problem with their developer which is not available on the spot - many times I had to make myself available after hours ( 7 pm seems like they are not in US) - unfortunately after few attempts to fix server problem I am still unable to access it . This company is bad, they sold me on a website build for $1500 - approx. Promised it would be completed in 2-4 weeks. Here I am 5 months later and I am being told it will be ** in 24 hours. The porject manager is a guy named ***** - he is not located in ******* as they say. I believe he may be in some other country.I asked for a refund and they threaten to get their legal team involved. I engaged Designs Raptor on 4/12/2023 to build a website for my company, and purchased their "Elite Website Package" for $999, which included professional web design and branding services. I have a professional services agreement outlining this engagement, which noted a 24 to 72 hour turnaround for delivery. As of 6/11/2023, I do not have a working concept, and the site is unpresentable. Although I have worked with three separate members of the team and completed the requisite documentation, the concept has continued to get worse with every revision. Although Designs Raptor held itself out to be a US-based company, everyone I have worked with seems to be from **********. They tend to engage at late hours and when they do call during US working hours, are only reachable for a short period. Although staff were held out to be highly experienced and trained design staff, there were several sloppy mistakes that showed a lack of understanding of basic website development. Project Managers were rude, impatient, and almost always asserted that the site was 'done' except for my latest concern, when clearly my site was still in development.One oddity that concerns me--In their portfolio on their website (***********************************) DR also holds themselves out to have built corporate retailer, ********-Sonoma's site; Given the lack of technical expertise I've seen from DR's "premium" and "award winning" team, I'm concerned this is not true. This was one of the key reasons I purchased the service. I do not want anyone else to fall for this company's false advertisement and disaster of a product. I will be asking for a refund, however, I'm highly concerned I will not see my money back. At this point, their team is not capable of delivering an acceptable product.Initial Complaint

Paid design raptor $1840 for a complete custom logo and website package. Estimated time of completion was 2 to 3 business days for logo and 4-5wks on website. It has been nine months and the website is still not deployed. Their review of design delivery indicated 95% of what I requested was completed which is incorrect in their documentation to show this. Their professionalism in wording of website content was horrible, simple grammatical mistakes had to be corrected by me and repetitive reviews. They had a 100% guarantee money back on the original contract it was not explained any further or linked to any terms of service for review on initial contract signing. Once they attempted to deploy the website it shut down all of my email capabilities and I run a medical practice so this was extremely difficult for patient care.I have agreed to the final logo and will pay for the logo but do not feel the website has been professionally managed or created and I do not trust the company with the importance of my email moving forward. I want my money back. I have attached the contract agreement and the review and the work done as Terms of service that they sent me when I requested my money back. Customer asked/requested for refund after design phase, front and back end development was concluded as well.

Customer website is fully developed and functional. It is ready to be published or put on LIVE but customer keeps on requesting for more changes and updates to be incorporated in the website which is entertained by the project manager and once the updates/requests are successfully incorporated, customer is updated in timely manner.
Upon customer request we also did investigation as to weather customer was provided timely updates and her weather her requests were entertained or not. The report was shared with customer as well and items which our team recommended which should be part of deliverables were immediately incorporated in the website.
Our Design & development teams have put in loads of hard work in this website and we are still willing to keep on working with the customer to provide top notch satisfactory services to the customer.

---I actually requested to start the process of refund 2 previous times to this request and each time I was assured that my needs would be met if I would just work with them further and in more detail. When this request was placed it was 8 months after the contract was initiated and I still had no website ready for publishing, they had crashed my business email and refused to correct it, and wasted many hours of my time in missed phone call appointments. As is documented by my request for a temporary site to go live, that would at least give patient something to see, we had no full site ready. When I refused to continue working with this company in October the site was not fully developed to a usable, informative site representing my business.
2. Official refund policy clearly explained- Blatant lie.
---Contract I signed reads- money back for any reason if you are not satisfied-. There is no reference to the terms/conditions on the contract nor on the initial website used to find the company. These details were not discussed when reviewing the contract with representative before signing and they were not referred to by **** on the previous two requests for initiation of money back either.
3. Customer website fully developed and functional, but not live because customer keeps requesting more changes.
---I would presume this relies on the definition used, as technically speaking I am sure they do have it developed to go live, but when it does not reflect the business it is intended to represent in a meaningful and user friendly way then YES I will continue to request changes and this has gone on for over 8 months with repeated examples of what I want the site to look like and how to arrange the information that still to this day has not been followed. As you can see from the transcript of requested changes, which is readily available from the company, most of these requests are repeated because they are either not done at all or done incorrectly on multiple attempts.
4. Not mentioned on their response, but important to point out
---When they did go live with a temporary website at my request, announcing we are working on a full website, my email connected to my business became inaccessible to me, patients, other doctors, hospitals. When I contacted my rep at Design Raptor about this, his answer was to set up a new email, if you have any intelligence at all, you would understand this helps me in no way. He initially gave me no indication that my email could be affected when the site went live and when I explained that I needed this contact avenue for patient care he gave no options to turn it back on directly. At that time I stopped working with him and contacted IT professional support I had used in the past and utilized more of my time and money to correct the situation and get my email functional again. When this was discussed with ******, the designated administrator, on an hour long call, he conceded that this was a grave mistake on ***** part and offered a lot of free additions to my website, because it was a medical site, but then on end review, no mention of this being a problem (surprised, not really). I spent about 20 hours of my time personally and paid others to fix this because DesignRaptors either didnt know how or didnt care enough to attempt it.
5. Also not mentioned in their response
---I was pushed hard to move my domain to them. I have my domain with another company and it is paid for for the next 5 years and I did not want it moved. I was asked for my EPP so they could take control of the domain and move it and when I refused, this discussion continued for at least 2 weeks before anymore work would be done on my site.
6. Regarding the claim that they worked hard to complete the design of a logo and website--I would argue they worked hard to avoid completing the task and deflected the work back to me.
I have documented record of the dialog between myself and this company that shows they offered poor design options, they did not follow my request for change in color or detail, and ultimately I had to tell them exactly how to take what they offered and change it into something that was, at a minimum, acceptable because they failed to give any further professional design options that were aesthetically pleasing or matched the color scheme I had set already in my office. It took from Feb 9th to April 20th to even get a logo resembling what I asked for and I only accepted it because I was up against a deadline needing forms completed. With 3 phone appointments that were not kept by DesignRaptors associate, when I had cleared my schedule of patients in my medical office at an agreed upon time, costing me revenue and missed opportunity for patient care in a timely manner.
A summary of logo communications- 2/9/22 initial contact with my requested thoughts, 2/14/22 first designs from DesignRaptor presented to me and all were cartoonish without the features relayed that I would like, 2/22/22 info given again by me, 2/22/********** from company sent back with minimal improvement or use of my requests. Appointment for phone call made for 2/23/22 to discuss b/c messages were not being understood, no one answered when I called at set time, this happened 2 other times on 3/2/22, and 4/20/22, on 3/2/22 when no meeting occurred I sent message on portal to change name on logo from ************************** to ***** ******************** 3/9/22 mock *** came and NAME not changed, colors requested not used, so given exact details of things like highlighting some words or moving them to make them look more aesthetically pleasing given, and name change requested again (things I would expect award winning designers to be doing for me when I am paying them to design a logo), 3/15/22 redesign results sent but when I had asked for earth tones -I got bright almost neon green and c*** brown color, no greys, blacks or blending of any kind, 3/30/22 requested colors that I previously discussed again, 4/2/22 **** confirmed he understood and would change,4/7/22 Got redesign with same color scheme and patterns just lightened up/blurred out a bit, 4/9/22 message back with again more detail on earth tones and a picture of another logo for an example, 4/10/22 long message about not being happy with logo and they need to get it together, 4/20/22 logo designs resent and one was in grey tones that I regret now, but decided to accept because I was up against deadlines for needed forms, cards, etc for my office. So as you can see a logo promised in days took 2.5 months, not because of lack of response from me but because they didnt do their job.
I have many other specific examples if needed, but would like to avoid wasting any more of my time regarding this joke of a company.

My site was paid for in full March 1, 2022. We are writing the attorneys general office, leaving reviews here, ********* and anywhere else that would help get the word out. At first, we were offered a service they knew they couldn't stick us with, that we declined and they moved forward. We noticed the same issues over and over we continued to ask for the issues to be fixed. After that we were told we needed a dedicated server in order to get our website live and that they had competitive pricing compared to ******* we declined this offer also. We asked several times to see the mobile friendly version of our website and I kid you not we are still waiting. We were told that they would need to make the site live in order to build the mobile friendly version. We were told how can another company offer us hosting when they didnt build our site, they wont guarantee us the site if we go through a third party instead of their site, and were also threatened to be taken to court for whatever reason. They offered us to have their team manage the site after theyre done setting up our site on Godaddy. The price for managing and edits would be $300 for 6 months and $450 for one year. We asked what kind of application they are running that would require a server environment, why did we need a dedicated server, was the website being ran by Linux or windows, how many GB the website is now, were they running ASP or ASPX application, how much database the website is using now, why did they need those kind of resources and for transferable files/a backup copy of our site. None of the questions were answered correctly and we still havent received any files. After speaking with another expert from a different company we decided to go with one of Godaddys packages and shared servers.
