Great business ethics!! Strongly recommend American Wood Flooring!! (don't buy Nuvelle)Purchased Nuvelle flooring from ****, the owner/manager, a year and a half ago. During installation the floor exhibited a crackling sound and was visibly moving when walking on it. **** quickly acted to advise the installers to use leveling and other techniques, although this did not solve the problem. After a few iterations of taking the floor up and putting it back down, **** concluded that the problem may be the product. They finished the install and scheduled *******'s representative to come inspect. After being disrespectful to my wife, the Nuvelle rep, of course, suggested it was an installation issue, so **** scheduled a 3rd party inspector. The 3rd party inspector suggested it was a manufacturing issue. After several months of back and forth with *******, another 3rd party inspector was called who also suggested installation. After this, **** ordered as much product as he could to replace the trouble spots, however there was not enough product to fix the floor. The flooring had been discontinued. Finally, **** had us select a new different product (from a different manufacturer), which was installed (by a new installation team) and is perfect!! It must be noted that at this point ******* has not reimbursed **** for anything. **** paid out of pocket for the multiple inspectors, additional flooring, new flooring, and new installation team.It took a while, but the business ethics of **** and American Wood Flooring were stellar. He kept in constant communication with us as he struggled with Nuvelle to come to a compromise. We are very impressed and happy customers.
