  This was a terrible experience. After paying half the cost up front on 12/15, we were given an installation date of 1/3. They called and rescheduled it for 1/11 because the stone hadn’t arrived. It then became a ridiculous series of new promised installation dates while they repeatedly failed to show up. No calls, no explanations, just no show 6 times. I called them several times and was repeatedly told they had just put the stone on the truck and they were on their way. On 1/19 they said they were coming at 10:00 and when they didn’t show I called and was told 2:30 and when they failed to show and I called again I was told 4:00. When I called at 4:15 they told me they had no idea where the guys were. Octavio will not answer his cell phone, nor will he come to the phone in the office. His voicemail is always full. On 1/23 I was told they were having trouble getting the stone and several suppliers wouldn’t deliver to them. I finally went back to the shop 1/27 and changed my order to a stone that they already had in stock. They finally installed the counters 2/8 after several calls, office visits, and frustrating discussions. The demolition was unprofessional and caused unnecessary damage to walls. The installation was poorly measured with outlet covers that were cut too small, an overcut in the seam of the counter, and a chip in the backsplash. We had to make several adjustments and repairs to their work. It was an extremely unprofessional engagement and I would never recommend Unique Marble to anyone.

  The initial meeting with Otavio (the owner) and Norm the office worker went well, after me and my wife had selected the material we wanted and paid 1/2 the cost up front, we scheduled 1/5/24 for Otavio to come to our home to take measurements of all of the countertops. Once the measurements were taken myself and Otavio scheduled for 1/18/24 at 11 am for the tear down of our countertops and scheduled 1/19/24 for the installation of the new Quartz countertops. 1/18/24 came and 11 am no one showed up, we waited an hour and still no one showed up, myself and my wife both called Otavio’s cell several times (we have the call logs) and never got an answer and his voicemail was full so we couldn’t leave a voicemail, sent him a text message and still no answer, we called the office several times to find out what was going on , Norm had no clue and at one point even hung up on me. My wife and I showed up to the office for answers only to be told that there was a delay in the delivery of the quartz slabs. Don’t you think you could have called us to let us know. We rescheduled for the following week 1/25 at 11 am for demo and 1/26 for install. 1/25 came and no one showed up, no one showed up until 4:30pm(5.5 hours late) no call, no heads up. 1/26 day of install at 11 am, no one showed up, I waited all day and I even went to the office and talked to Norm again and complained, finally they show up at my house with the countertops at 5:30 pm, ***(6.5 hours late). Only 3 countertops were installed, still no backsplash or bathroom countertops, they would have to come back 1/27 for the rest. The cutouts for the electrical sockets were all off, there was gaps that needed to be filled with caulk once the faceplate were put on, the caulking around the under mount sinks were terrible, my walls need to be patched and painted, I had to correct all their screw up’s of which I have pictures of as well. Worst experience from a business we have ever dealt with, will not recommend at all.

  We had an excellent experience with Unique! They were very understanding with us for delays caused by our contractor.
