    On 8/25/23 I went to *** Store #**** to have a package shipped. The gentleman at the furthest register assisted me. I asked if the box was ok as it was from **** and he advised it was fine. He asked for my number as I have shipped from there before and they had my name and past shipments. I was showed the label on the screen and asked to sign it to confirm and I digitally signed it. Approx a week later the box showed at my home in ******************* ** ***** vs ** 29646.tracking # 1Z 937 R2R 03 **** ****. My # is NOT on the label. I went to the store thinking it was an honest error and would be quickly resolved. Instead the package was rudely shoved in my face and told that I put the label on the box and I was therefore responsible? I explained the label not only has the UPS Store address as the RETURN NOT MINE. The very clerk put the label on the box although it was not even the issue. He again explained I would have to pay as I tried reasoning that how would I put the label on the box with their info? My resolve was I I would pay and return with the receipt and they could return my money. Again the box was shoved in my face and RUDELY TOLD " I AM NOT SHIPPING ANYTHING" My question was why not? The manager standing at the next register turned and said she was going to call the police???? For what I asked? For simply asking them to research the shipment? Which was later found to be a simple error most likely THEM dropping in wrong out box.. They have cameras so play back the encounter and explain what I did that would warrant that kind of response? There were approx 20 people in the store. The so called manager also went on to help the next customer so what could have possibly been occurring? It is illegal to file a false Police report. I did NOTHING but quietly and politely ask how to correct the issue I even offered to pay and return. It is disgusting that a mgr has such little skills but to threaten a customer. I paid $14 and want refund.

    After reviewing the complaint we interviewed both associates involved as well as other associates present to witness the event. We also reviewed the cameras of the incident. All employees present stated that the customer was neither quiet or polite from the beginning of the altercation. The associates present felt demeaned and threatened by the customer. Our policy is for our employees and customers safety to come first. The customer was very aggressive and abusive to our employees to the point that they asked and told him to leave the store or they would be required to call the police for trespassing. After reviewing the cameras and speaking to each employee separately we have concluded no wrong doing on the part of the employees( none of which were a manager)  in keeping with our safety protocols and trying to help a very angry customer that was not giving the associate an opportunity to both fully understand the nature of the complaint as well as help to find a solution. As soon as the employee mentioned that *** may not cover the reshipment the customer became even more angry and louder. The employees asked the customer to leave for their safety as well as the safety of our customers present.
