      This is a problem with a Flex Seal spray can. On 5/23/25 I tried to use the spray to seal a repaired spray tank tube. I pressed the top, nothing happened, then it gurgled and bubbled out, mostly from under the spray cap. I stopped immediately with the intent of removing the spray cap and ensuring there was no blockage. I took it inside; as I tried to remove the spray cap, it blew off and blasted black gooey stuff all over! It would not quit and I only contained it by holding my hand over and quickly stuffing it in a plastic bag. I then spent hours trying to clean the mess off sink, counters, windows and everything else nearby.

      Product promised to seal anything even when wet. I tried the tape , spray and rubber paint. It never stuck to the cut. It was very disheartening to spend all that money for nothing.

      I purchased a roll of Flex Tape from local Ace Hardware in May 2024. To use on a water tank at my home that had a pin hole leak. Tape did not work. Within minutes the tape was bubbling up and water was lifting the tape of the the tank. I called customer service number ************ for the FIRST time on 5-30-2024 at 11:50 am and spoke to ******. After telling ****** of the issue he emailed me an extensive refund form to fill out and return the form with copy of my receipt along with pictures and the process I used to install. I had to call back to find out where the packet needed to be sent. Mailed packet. Called back to ****** the following week and was told he was forwarding to the warranty department to process the refund. After multiple calls. Emails and texts as of today 8-16-2024 I have not received my refund. Plus multiple requests to speak to a Supervisor on the issue and being promised a Supervisor would call nothing. Yesterday I emailed again requesting a Supervisor call me in 24 hours or I would be contacting BBB to file a complaint. No call. I guess their customer service is as good as their product. Or they just dont care to properly service a customer

      I received an email from Flex seal after filing the complaint. On 8-19 at 11:53am I received a call from ****** at Flex Seal. He told me he was returning my call. I had to call him back. At 12:09pm I called back but ****** was on another call, I spoke with ****, who had sent me the earlier email. She had no idea about the email. Had to explain to her the reason for the call. Multiple times she asked me who I was. I once again explained the call. What was the status on my refund. She told me that they were still waiting on my refund forms. I then told her that the first week in June while talking to ****** he told me he had the forms and would be sending them to the warranty department for a approval on the refund. I also told her that on multiple ocassions I had asked to speak to a supervisor. That there was never one available but one would call back shortly. that I have never had on call me back. **** then told me that ****** was a supervisor. 

      While she was telling me I would need to re-file since they never got my forms, she stopped to tell me that ****** had sent her an email that he had requested the forms, had them and would be sending them to  corporate for an approval for the refund. I asked **** how long that was going to take since i had already been waiting close to 3 months. She told me that she was new to the company, only been there a short time. That once ****** got off his call he would call me and go over the procedure. . 

      Again, that was on 8-19, it is now 8-23. 5 days later and no call. No email.

      This is totally unacceptable. I think I have been more than accamodating in waiting for a refund on a product that did not work as they advertised.

      I purchased this product from ******** Upon opening it to use the product was already dried out. I do not have the receipt so I called the customer service line to inform them about their product and that I wanted a replacement. I was told by ****** from their customer service department that they cannot do anything for me because I have to show proof that it has been less than 30 days that I purchased it. I do not know why 30 days would matter as I bought it and never opened it. So when I went to fix the project I was using it on and opened the container the product was hard. So basically Im told by ****** that there is nothing that they can do because I cannot provide a receipt even though I provided pictures of the product showing it was brand new and dried out and hard. Now reading on their website it states that A reseller is suppose to have the product stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, dampness, and in accordance with any additional storage guidelines. Well apparently this didnt happen as I got either an old product or one that was not stored properly. I have never heard of a company that doesnt stand by their product and try and make their customer happy so they will continue to use their product. Instead Im basically given the run around and they will not provide me with a replacement. Totally unacceptable since this product is not cheap. Apparently this product is not packaged so that it will not dry out and hardened before it ever being opened. Maybe you should start to put an expiration date on your product then.

      It was c*** I threw it away a long with the plumbers putty that didn't work I didn't know I should of kept it but I'm sorry my back yard is more worrisome then keeping tape I mad cause they lied they say it seals leaks instantly no it don't look

      We have had violent storms in my area my tornado shelter was leaking water at the seam. I spent over ****** dollars buy flex tape to seal it. I cleaned and prepped the surface and applied the tape. While in the shelter during a tornado warning the shelter continued to take in water as if the flex tape was never installed. This was a total waste of money and a violation of trust given the price and advertisement. I had my *************************************************************************************************************************** more than the wasted money I spent.

My fiance, 81 year old mother and I were in it during a violent storm that produced 87 tornados. The flex tape let the water in as if it wasn't there. Nothing like they claim in thier commercials.

      On 11/14/23 I purchased 4 flex seal products at $38.98 per tub totaling $155.92 spent on their product 3lb Flex Paste Black. On 11/16/23 I contacted customer service because all 4 tubs were less than 50% usable. The product hardened in the containers and could not be used. I have since contacted the company through 6 emails and 4 phone calls where I am told that someone from corporate will contact me by the end of the day. Today when I called the customer service number I was immediately hung up on; I had to call the order tracking extension to get through to someone. I feel like this company is a massive waste of your hard earned money and they obviously have zero regard for your time as they lie to you and screen calls to not have to deal with you.

      My saltcell housing got a small crack in it and started leaking. I used 2 entire bottles of flex seal spray and 5 entire rolls of flex seal tape over the course of 10 days letting the product cure completely before reapplying. After 10 days I turned my salt water generator back on and it leaked right through everything like nothing had been done. $90 down the drain. **********************************************************

      I bought some items on Nov 20th this year. As the postal service in my country does not work well, we use private couriers. I send the products to a warehouse in ******* and then they send me the items to my city. The issue is that I found out once they arrived to the warehouse that the items were banned for import because they are sprays. I contacted support by email asking about their return policy. The response said to call a number, ***************, but the call never reached them.I want to return the items, but if their number is not working, I want to know what other method I can work with them.
