We purchased a brand new 2023 forest river grand villa manufactured in March we purchased it in April and we had leaks upon purchase multiple leaks. Grw says that it is up to forest river and of course Forest River said the same. Forest River said that GRW is suppose to leak check the RV but they said they don't have a rain chamber so they just put a water hose on the top. Our RV was not even a month old and has multiple leaks and decaying wood.and I also have dry rotting particle board .We have had it in 3 to 4 time for them (GRW) to fix leaks. The wood is decaying and splitting they said(GRW) that they will order the inside framing and replace it, sounds like they are just trying to make more money. Why would you sale a product that you don't stand by! I have a leak from my ac unit since the purchase, which has been replaced because it was inproply installed causing it to leak all the freon. They had the RV for 4 days and when I picked it up the ac was still not working. They did make a mobile visit and rigged it up until they could properly fix it. But it was leaking water inside the unit, buckets of water. And after they fixed it two days later I still have to have a bucket under the unit to catch water and it leaks a average of two buckets a day and this is a upstairs unit which is causing separation in the top floor. This was a previous problem prior to the ac being fix and it still exists. Phil the salesman after the purchase at GRW told us that after it rains they go out to the RVs with towels so he wouldn't know if it was leaking or not prior to saling, it he also stated that he works in sales not service. I have not been giving the option to have a refund or a new unit however everyone is eager to refer us to a mobile repair where you have to pay up front and be reimbursed however they do not reimburse 100%. My interior wall are saturated with water and mold. And why would I want to repair a brand new RV. To date it's only 4months old 5 with manufacturing.Giant Recreation World

Your situation is very concerning to us, and we feel terrible that you have been enduring the water intrusion issues. I have followed up with our team and I believe their communication and efforts to get your unit fixed up is progressing and will continue to do so until the issues are resolved. There are communications with us and with Forest River, the manufacturer on record and I have reviewed them. There are some parts on order and Forest River committed to paying for an in-park service technician to come to your campsite and repair it. We do not provide in-park service however for you we have done so in trying to get your issues resolved. When we sold your unit to you, it was titled to you, and it is for this reason we will not be refunding your money. It is no longer a new and untitled unit. The Manufacturer will pay authorized repair centers per their warranty procedures and policies but will not replace your unit with a different one. We ask that you are patient and before you know it, the leaks and damages caused by leaks will be repaired. We do stand behind our work but the warranty is administered by the Manufacturer. We will perform the repairs they authorize and if work we completed was not done properly, then we will do it again until done properly. CEO LarryC. G.

So, basically your saying that you sold us a "lemon" with pre-existing problems and because the tag said it was new the title clears you from any pre-existing conditions. And it has been two weeks of emptying buckets of water and I have yet to hear any remedy or source of fixing it. At this point I'm convinced that GRW knew of the leaks and was waiting to pass it off on a buyer. Wood does not rot in less than a month. And we reported this problem less than 30 days after the purchase. You also stated you stand behind your work but failed to admit you stand behind any product you sale. You basically summarized your answers to all of your many complaints and failed to answer any of the problems at hand. You basically should be a used RV lot that repairs RVs , which you are poor at doing also. I have recorded every bucket of water that I empty from the ac that GRW installed. This seems to be a reverse Ponzi scheme, where you sale defective RVs then make money off of the repairs. I think GRW should be investigated for consumer fraud. You boldly told me that I bought a defective RV and you would be happy to repair it at my expense. However at the time of sale the pitch was totally different, Which I'm sure is breaking some state laws.Review fromElizabeth T

Requested my sons refund back from this company, no financial contract has been sign and I've heard every excuse not to return his refund. This company has been nicely vicious, to keep his refund.Giant Recreation World

After looking into the details of your deal I have to say that the deposit we took is not refundable however it can be applied to a deal in the future. Our goal is not to keep deposits but however to sell RV's. We rescheduled your delivery date 3 times, got the deal done with 1/2 the down payment as originally quoted and still got the payments under what was quoted. Our purchase agreement is typed up, all I's are dotted and all T's are crossed, is signed by all parties and even the red box in the middle that says "deposit refundable" Yes or No is checked No and is even initialed. We are absolutely transparent, overcame all of the objections, etc. I hope that I see your name on a deal soon. CEO LarryReview fromDawn M

After purchasing a brand new Class A motor home from Giant recreation world in winter park we brought it to GRW in Palm Balm for the added protection which we purchased at an additional cost to protect the inside from mildew/mold. After the service we notice water damage all along the bottom cabinetry. We also found a tear in the recliner which we hadn’t noticed before which appears to be a slice from a box cutter. After 4 months we have been informed by the Service Dept. That this is not covered under warranty by Forest River. Seriously that’s the only answer?? I’m livid. This is a brand new RV and was NEVER USED BY US PRIOR TO THE DAMAGE. WE only owned it for a week and noticed the damage. Giant Recreation World needs to step up their servicing game now.Giant Recreation World

We have still not received notification from Forest River after we requested authorization again, urging that they stand behind their product. CJ, our new Service Manager in Palm Bay requested that they take care of it under good will if they don't want to consider it warranty work. The primary reason the claim was originally denied is that we were unable to find a cause to the water damage along the floor line in the effected areas. We guessed that either a vent was left open, a spigot or tap was left on overflowing the sink, the refrigerator defrosted or something. This meant that Forest River felt that the damage was human error. I suggest that if you have more information about the cause of the damage, reach out to CM at our Giant Recreation World of Palm Bay location. 321-242-6261 and ask for CJ.Review frommichael M

Company knowingly sold & delivered RV with defective part. Sold me a FR3 motorhome with defective motorized awning. Sales documented awning not working and stated they would fix before I took possession of RV 6 days after sale. When RV was delivered, awning STILL not working. No call back, no responses to text's and emails from company on when the defective part will be fixed and/or replaced.Giant Recreation World

Sorry that your awning is still not working. I did review the work order history and saw where the awning was inoperable but that was due to a blown fuse. It was replaced and tested and all was OK. I promise to get someone to reach out and advise where the fuse is located and hopefully get the ball rolling to get it fixed for good. If someone has already responded to you please update the review because not returning text messages or voice mail messages is out of the ordinary. CEO Larry.Review fromBrian B

anniversary date 8/25/18 brought it in for yearly warranty service 8/18/22. they keep 3 weeks or so to complete the service. i picked it up 9/24/22 on a Saturday. They have service employees that do not know the correct information.. was told when picked up had 30 days to submit the paper work to the warranty company. so I submitted 10/3/22. was contacted by warranty company that it was voided and nothing they could do. Very disappointed in both warranty company and the dealer...i will never use this business again. My advise is buy your rv else where. Get a 3rd party warranty and you will have more covered, less hoops to jump through. The warranty company they use will do anything to void the warranty. THEY HAD NO TROUBLE TAKING MY $$$ THOUGH FOR YEARLY SERVICE. and giving me poor information Educate your employees giant rec..as their ignorance cost me my warranty.. I will be leaving a bad review on every and any platform I can find..Giant Recreation World

After a lot of work I am pleased to inform you that your RV Warranty Forever has been reinstated. Our Service Director reached out to one of the higher ups and was able to get it done. The reason it took so long is because last year, they applied a 1-time exception because the requirements were not met within the allotted time period. For the record, if the requirements are not met and the information is not sent to the Warranty Forever company within 30 days of the date of purchase anniversary they will not reinstate it again. That date is 8/25. I suggest that you get the inspection done at least a month prior to this date and send it in as quickly as possible, before this date. Please change your 1 star to a 5 star please. I am also aware that they informed you last year that the reinstatement was a 1 time only deal. CEO LarryBrian B

Shorten version of events (Palm Bay location) ****************
Sept 23, 2022 - Left what was told to us was a refundable deposit by Joel ******. Had a delivery date on the camper of Thursday September 29, 2022. Because of Hurricane IAN it was pushed back. We own multiple properties and we took damages. If you live in Florida you understand the Hurricane deductible and we are looking at 20k plus out of pocket. After the storm I went down and spoke with "DJ" Donald ****** (Senior Sales Manager). We spoke and the outcome was I signed a contract and I was not getting it back. He did say they would hold it and apply it towards another purchase. He did not once ask me how my family was or acknowledge situation as worthy of a deposit. He did tell me he hears excuses everyday basically telling me he does not care about anything I have to say. He then reviews my contract and tells me I was lying about my timeline and I signed the documents after the Hurricane IAN. I asked him if I could go to the car and get my phone so I could provide and exact timeline to show him that he was mistaken on the storm dates and he gave me his card and said to email it to him. During this time the other sales guy left the room and came back with a new offer to purchase the camper with no money down. If damage to your personal property from a hurricane is not a legitimate reason to return a deposit than what is? Especially considering the only reason we did not already take delivery was because of the storm. I would bet I am not the only customer in this position and I would like to think if the owners of the company knew that storm victims deposits were being kept they would not agree.Giant Recreation World

Upon looking into your situation I was happy to find out that the deposit was returned to you already after our Sales Director made the decision. Our purchase agreements have a statement about every deposit received that simply shows a yes or no box. Your purchase agreement included the Deposit not refundable checked and the agreement was signed by all parties. I can only hope that your situation improves and that you and you family are OK. Please reach out to us should your situation change. Unfortunately I was on vacation all last week and was only available to respond to this review today. CEO Larry
