    My car broke down in Fla[transmission] I have a warranty [******* ******] They had it towed to Pure Auto. The warranty co sent them 2 transmission which weren't installed right. Pure Auto wouldn't release the car till the warranty co, or I pay the$600.00 I had to pay it so ******* ****** could have the car towed to ******** transmission in Jacksonville Fla. and the fix it in a day I lost well over $1,000.00 getting my car back. They held my car hostage cause I was from PA.

    Mr.******* had his vehicle towed to us by the warranty company ******* ******. It was diagnosed as needing a transmission. ******* sent us a USED transmission that we installed. It was defective, this happens sometimes. They then sent another USED transmission and it also was defective. They wanted to send a third USED transmission and we told them they would need to pay the labor on the first 2. They said if that was the case they would pay the current bill for 2 installs and then take it some place else. We only install used transmissions for warranty companies due to this possibility. They cover the warranty. For all other customers we only use ******* ****** Transmissions. The $600 was the cost for items that the warranty company does not cover and the customer was informed of these charges before the first transmission was installed. We installed the defective transmissions correctly and ******* did pay for that work. If the customer has issues they should be with the warranty company and the defective transmissions it sent. Our work was done correctly as confirmed by ********* payment.
