I purchased a crate yanmar engine for my excavator 5/11/2024 and it took about 2 months to have built and delivered which was ok. yanmar engine warranty clearly states that it has a 24 month warranty and that the purchaser is responsible for transporting the engine to the dealer. the engine had an internal failure in Novemberl with less than 100 hours on it. it took yanmars representative 2 months to find a certified dealer who would work on the engine and another month for them to tell me if I took the whole machine and the engine had to come out, I would have to pay whatever the shop charged to pull it out. I've often seen these bills go as high as $10,000 because they have your machine for collateral and there's no limit to what they can charge. If I pull the engine out, they can't properly troubleshoot it, if I leave it in, I'm most likely going to have a bigger bill than the engine would cost for me to rebuild it myself. I'm almost to the point of ordering a rebuild kit and fixing it myself which is not fair to me because I paid so much for this engine. the engine cost was $13,181.58

Tractor was purchased from Yanmar American Corporation in February 2024. Total amount of tractor was ****** dollars. A 10 year warranty as well as assurance that there was a Yanmar service center to service tractor in **************, was in the contract. However the tractor is less than a year old and need service. After many phone calls I find out that there are not any Yanmar service center near me. The closes 3 are 4 hours or more away. They are unwilling to help me with this issue. Basically saying oh well we are sorry and offering no solution. I am asking for a replacement tractor, refund or cover the transportation of the tractor to and from the Yanmar service center and cover what it costs to fix what is wrong with the tractor as well as honoring the 10 year warranty.

The Yanmar engine in my boat is not functioning. It is a 2007 boat and engine. The **** or computer that controls the throttle and transmission has malfunctioned. Yanmar has no parts available to repair the problem. As I have looked into it this, it is a widespread problem with no solution. When it was available it was a $300 part. To replace an engine would cost many thousands of dollars. The engine itself is in perfect working order it just cannot be controlled without the ECU.What can be done to compel Yanmar to make parts available to repair my and many others engines?
