      July 31st was procedure. Verification of address each time i called . 25 calls later and 2 pages of dates and names still no check. They mailed it to wrong address even though I called to have it changed. This last attempt they "discovered " it was being mailed to wrong address. Stop pays and "check is in the mail" still no check

      I was seen on 9/40/24 for a broken tooth. While in the chair the office manager stated I was PA for a crown. During that time I was evaluated and treated and brought back in one week for crown build up. I paid $660. I returned one week later. Had build up. One week later was told that because the dentist applied fluoride on the 9/30 visit I was now responsible for the entire crown build up, $123. I did call delta and was told this was all my fault that I should have known what all restoration services entailed and it was not their problem but mine. First, when Im in the dental chair I expect my dentist to take care of my needs. The assumption that I should know silver diamine fluoride use comes with a black out global period of 2 months is not something I had ever known nor do I know where to look for this information. I can not find any information regarding the specific part of my husbands work packet that states there is a global period on silver diamine fluoride Ill be contacting HR next. I think it is unconscionable that your company steal my premiums then when I need help , I hear that I voided my own treatment. Your customer service is terrible. Your business practices abysmal!Im stuck waiting for 2 months for my crown this doesnt seem like a reasonable solution.

      I filed a appeal to the Grievance and ****************** because by the time I discovered the issue with my claim it's over the periods member services could help me with. Two years ago, a claim was processed as an out-of-network claim while it was actually in-network. The provider was enrolled in both plans and they processed my claim under another plan therefore claiming that it's an out-of-network provider for me so they could pay less, ignoring the fact that I was eligible for an in-networks benefit. The first decision letter also ignored that but member services confirmed for me that I was eligible. Hence I went back to Grievance and Appeals then they put me on "brief" holds that lasts hours before I can't tolerance the wasting of my time and hang up. It's ridiculous to get redirected different ways and when they can't prove to be right then ghost on insured patients.

I request that you review all of his network at the time of the claim and reprocess this claim under PPO provider networks.

      My son, ***** *****, received braces in February of 2022. At the time of installation, I paid in full for the braces. The doctor stated that I would receive reimbursements from Delta Dental at the six-month and twelve-month marks. I received the six-month reimbursement but did not receive another one. This has been an ongoing issue. I have contacted Delta Dental several times over the past two years seeking status or information about this issue. Every time I contact them, I am told to file a claim and it will be resolved in sixty to ninety days, but it never is. I have been given the runaround, and at this point, I don't know where else to turn. My son has already had his braces removed and completed his orthodontic care. The doctor's office has also attempted to contact Delta Dental with no resolution.

      I was overcharged by Coast Dental. At the time of the visits, I had Delta Care Insurance contract number **********. On 9/11/2024 I contacted Delta Dental requesting assistance to file a grievance regarding these overcharges. I was Delta Dental would not assist with grievance because my policy is no longer in effect. I was forced to cancel my policy one month prior to this as I had turned 65 and had to change to ********* According to Delta Dental explanation of benefits I should have paid $120.00 for 9/22/2023 visit, however Coast dental charged me $429.99. For 1/22/2024 visit the claim indicates I should have been charged $55.00 but was charged $134.00 by Coast Dental. I had the same policy from 1/1/2020 - 8/2/2024 with premiums always paid on time. Nearly 5 years of taking my money but now refuse to assist with solving these gross overcharges.

      My name is *********************, and this complaint is on behalf of my mother, ***********************. I am currently my mother's Legal Guardian. My mother is 84 years old, has Lewy Body Dementia and had an AARP Dental Insurance Plan up until February 2024. Given that I'm her legal guardian, I had been paying the dental insurance premiums myself via credit card. I received notice in ******* that payment for ******* had been declined, and so, I contacted my credit card company. They said everything with the card was fine, and I assumed it was just an error. The following month, I received a letter saying my mother's coverage had been terminated due to non-payment. Since then, I have been trying to get this entire mess resolved, but to no end. For the longest time, no one would even talk to me even though I'm my mother's legal guardian. I finally got someone to tell me where to send in a copy of the Guardianship papers, which I did. At that point, I thought I would finally get all of this resolved. Well, instead, I received a letter saying that because 180 days had passed since the "incident", nothing could be done. So, basically, I've been told there is no way coverage can be reinstated for my mother, even though there was nothing wrong with my credit card in the first place. And even though I've been trying like h*** to get somebody to help me and my mother for months. Can someone please help me with this? All I want is my mother's dental coverage reinstated, that's all. We have done nothing wrong, and honestly, I feel like my mother has been targeted just so they could drop her coverage. My mother's full name is ***** ***************************, and her Member ID was ************.

      I had 2 wisdom teeth extraction done on April 23, 2024. I got preapproved treatment cost and completed procedure. My dental office billed Delta Dental for procedure to remove my 2 teeth. In July, i got statement from my dental office because tooth extraction were not covered. Delta Dental, will not cover due to they note "OS goes to medical meaning dental will NOT cover". I have submitted to my Aetna medical, but they will not process that claim because it dental. I can not get denial letter from *****, thus i can not return denial to Delta for them to process that claim. I just had to pay it. Both Delta dental and Aetna had me stuck in the corner and none of them would understand that Aetna does not cover dental and Delta Dental need to process this medical claim since Aetna will not cover dental claims.

      My monthly premium to Delta Dental is$48.79/ month. I contacted them and told them I wanted to cancel my service with them since my dentist will not be dealing with them. On 7/3/24 I contacted customer service explaining same requesting cancellation for the reason above. On 7/3/24 I contacted them to cancel my policy for the reason above.They wrote back that I would get a response in 3 to 5 business days and provided tracking # EP202407030552. As they have not responded in a reasonable amount of time I tried to contact customer service at the email address they provided and my message to them bounced making it impossible to get status/resolution. This company is massive through out the US and I need your help resolving my issue since I cannot communicate with them by their design which seems unethical.

      I saw my dentist April 10, 2024 they told me they no longer contract with my dental insurance-Delta Dental and I'd have to pay the bill and submit the claim. I did that and still haven't gotten a check for $225. I've called twice and they tell me something different each time I call.

      I submitted a estimate claim (claim ID *************** last week, but when I visited my dentist today I was charged with a bill because dental denied one of the items (D0277). I would like Delta to cover this cost because it was shown as covered on the estimate claim. If I had known this wouldn't be covered I wouldn't have visited.
