      I HOPE this gets to the wonderful woman that helped me on 11.29.2023, I meant to stay on the line and take the survey but its my habit to just end the call -- she was so lovely and helped me through step by step until the problem was solved. Lovely woman. She said she lived in ******** - and she was an absolute gem on the phone!!! Amazing customer service. We chatted for a good bit while I was trying to figure out my account <3

      Tried canceling the policy. They want to charge my account another months premium even though I will not be covered. Additionally, they take cancellations in the order they come in, with no guarantee of when the policy will be cancelled.

      Absolute worst web site, hands down. Nothing but dead ends when trying to register or log in. I will urge my company to change providers.

      Back in early February 2023, I called Delta Dental to request approval for 2 root canals that I needed performed. Delta Dental representatives assured me that my procedure would be covered 40-60%. I was told to pay out of pocket and I would get a reimbursement check.On February 20th, 2023, I had the root canal with ****************** Endodontics and paid $4,400. It is the end of October and I still have not been reimbursed for the promised 40-60% for root canals performed months ago. I got 2 checks totaling $728. I have called numerous times to be told that Delta Dental does not have the proper images from the Endodontist. I have been in constant contact with the Endodontist and they have assured me multiiple times that they have submitted all of the proper images. Delta has given me excuse after excuse. Did not get images, images are blurry, doesnt show full tooth, we need them to send the narrative. This has been going on for over 6 months. I have been told to file a grievance on their website, which has not been working for weeks. I finally spoke with a competent representative who sent me a form, and I have to go out of my way to mail it when this should have been taken care of months ago. Unbelievable that you have to write a letter for someone to get back to you, how archaic. In September, they finally answered the grievance and told me after all this time that the procedure was done out of network, and I was not going to be reimbursed any further. They did not think they should have mentioned that from the beginning? I obviously would have never gone to a dentist out of network and spent thousands of dollars on a procedure if I could have gotten it covered elsewhere by the insurance I pay for monthly.Being a customer of ******************** has been nothing short of a disaster and their customer service is inept and uninformed. I would appreciate it if they did the right thing and reimbursed me what they told me from the start.

      They purposely make it impossible to cancel policies by not even giving you the option on their website. Not only that, they will not provide a phone number either. This information is buried so deep that you have to do a semi extensive ****** search just to obtain the information. The "contact is" section is useless. I've sent emails to them and received an auto reply telling me they'd contact me within a few days. That was a lie. No one ever contacted me. This "insurance" company shouldn't even be allowed to do business with the public.

      I submitted a grievance form online with Delta Dental due to being robbed from ********* Dental again. The online process does not allow you to upload images. I called in after submitting it and asked if I could send images of receipts, bills and explanation of bennifits to support my claims and was given an email to do so. I sent the pictures and never heard anything back to confirm as received. I called back to confirm it and a rep had trouble finding it, then claimed she found it WITHOUT confidence. I waited the entire month for the process to be completed and called back. Delta Dental claimed they were not able to reach ********* Dental on 3 attempts and are closing my case due to not having the bills or amounts paid. The image that I sent them at the beginning of the process were of ALL bills, receipts and explanation of bennifits. I knew they didn't upload my images and were just lying at the beginning of the process. I had to call them on 3 separate days regarding this and each time I'd get cold transfered and dropped off to a dead line at least 6 times per day of calling in and would never feel like I've been resolved. I told the rep with the grievance department that they need to reopen the case since the info was provided and they told me that I have to start all over and mail it in. I demanded a supervisor on Friday September 1st and was told ***** hours. I waited until Thursday September 7th to call back and ask what happened to my supervisor. They told me that one called and spoke with me on Tuesday September 5th. I work for the government and was on call at this time. I CAN'T MISS ANY CALLS DURING THIS TIME! I never got a call on this day from ANYONE, no voicemails, live right next to my cell tower with extremely good service and never spoke with anyone. This is the WORST Dental insurance provider ever and am VERY happy that the ************** fired them this year! Sad that I have to leave 1 start instead of **** stars like what they deserve.

      Delta Dental is a rip off. I have two charges from them. I found no one to talk to about this problem.The one person that I did talk to said there were no managers. She was awful to talk to.

      I'm writing in regards to poor service and unprofessional employees at Delta Dental. I've written an appeal to an authorized dental service and was denied AFTER I received service.This is unprofessional and unacceptable. I received an a letter of apology, but not a check!!********************* is the Quality and Care Coordinator who wrote the apology and of course informed me i had to have a request for pre determination, AFTER THE FACT!!!!!Thank you for this complaint. I appreciate the opportunity to let the Better Business Bureau know the experience I've had. *******************

      This company is extremely unorganized and because of this, have cost me money that should have been paid out. After submitting 7 overseas claims, they continually denied them due to missing documents. However after the 3rd or 4th time resubmitting them (must be done via mail), I have been told that they are now past the 1 year period to file for reimbursement. I have spent countless hours following up on the phone since Dec 2021, and because they cannot locate these mailed documents, I am out of luck. One specific claim was paid on my oldest daughter, but they state the same documents for my youngest was never received. They ARE THE SAME proof of payment and proof of primary coverage on a claim they paid out on! Today they informed me they cannot reference any other claims for that information, I would have to resumbit via mail AGAIN! How can a company operate like this and stay in business? The fact that we were overseas on a military assignment, paid everything out of pocket, submitted timely, followed up, resubmitted again and again the requested documents, and still end up without Delta Dental paying on a claim is absolutely mindboggling. All they need to say is that they never received the documents. This is absolutely unacceptable, disheartening, and downright wrong. I have asked what I did wrong in this process and was told that it was because I submitted everything in one envelope for multiple claims. What the heck?? Nevermind the resubmitted documents that just somehow went missing time and time again. DO NOT USE DELTA DENTAL!! Save your self heartache, stress, and money!

      I had a tooth extracted in January the provider ended up not being in network with Delta Dental. I paid what they told me I owed for the services that day. Then I get a bill for over $200 I talked to the dentist's office they said it was Delta Dental not them. I called Delta Dental 3 times to resolve the issue I just got off the phone with 3 different reps. I was transferred 3 times. I was originally told on the first two calls that they messed up and it had to be processed again. I never got an update on it. So I called back today the last person I was transferred to was incredibly condescending. She not only belittled her co-workers but she was doing the same to me. She told me she was a level two and she could see certain things and had more understanding of the policies. Never again. I almost hung up on her.
