2 starsBuyer check all exterior paint and craftsmanship and make sure it is completely right before signing! My wife and I bought our very first home in the Reverie neighborhood in *********, ** in May 2022. We noticed that there were some obvious exterior large paint mismatched spots during our walk through. The contractor confirmed that these would fade. We submitted another claim to have the house painted last year to no avail. After asking questions, the contractor confirmed that the house was mistakenly painted too early before the internal of the house was completed which caused the paint to fade. They also confirmed that they had multiple contractors paint different parts of the house which may have caused some inconsistences. When they tried to touch up the errors the new paint is a lot darker and the house looks awkward. We have a whole side of the house that is mismatched on half the side as well as some obvious big spots. After submitting another claim this year to have the whole house painted, we were told that this was not covered under warranty and now we are stuck having to paint the whole house so it matches. We paid almost $500k for a house that has some obvious blemishes. Please make sure that you are completely pleased before signing that dotted line.
