      I have placed two orders with this company and accidentally put the incorrect address in the shipping field. I called prior to the items shipping and spoke with two customer service representatives who assured me the system was updated and my orders would arrive at the correct location that they put into the system. I could see the changes in the system online. Come to find out they shipped my products to the incorrect location. I called to request support and they said they couldnt help me unless they sent *** to the persons home to ask for the items? If they didnt provide them than Im out on the merchandise purchase. Why cant I be refunded after I was told my products were going to ship to the proper location? It even shows in my order history that it was corrected before leaving the warehouse. Can someone please help me resolve?

      ?******** Favors[Your Address optional]********************************: Complaint Against Ballard Designs Order #T8158843 Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Ballard Designs regarding an unresolved issue involving a damaged product and failure to process a refund in a timely and professional manner.On April 14, 2025, I placed an order with Ballard Designs (Order #T8158843). When the itema mirrorwas delivered, it arrived completely broken. I immediately contacted Ballard Designs customer service, and I was told that although the damaged item would not be picked up, a replacement would be sent.The replacement mirror did arrive,damaged and it was returned but I am now being denied a refund.Despite repeated follow-up calls and emails, Ballard Designs has failed to resolve this matter or provide clear communication regarding the refund process. This situation has caused me undue frustration, and I believe it reflects poor customer service and business practice.I am requesting the BBB to investigate this matter and assist in ensuring Ballard Designs honors their commitment to customer satisfaction by promptly processing my refund for the damaged item. I am prepared to provide photos of the damaged product and a timeline of communication if needed.       Placed on order for chair slipcovers online with credit card. Received the order. Order was not as stated in description and thus did not fit. Submitted to return order. Confirmed Ballard Designs received return on 5/27. Reached out to customer service as to why I had yet to receive return via credit card used to purchase. They stated I should receive the return in 3-5 days. Still nothing. I call customer service only to be told that my return will come via check and I should expect it within 3-5 additional days. This is NOT how I paid for the product. According to their own return policy all refunds will be given as they were received. This is a violation of policy and they are unwilling to make it right.

      On May 1, 2025, I was advised via email from ***, Ballard Designs Product Specialist, that I would receive my refund three to seven business days after the chair was picked up and the trucking company confirmed that the chair was in transit back to us. On May 7, 2025, the chair was picked up. On May 13, 2025, I confirmed via email that the chair was picked up. On May 22, 2025 I once again confirmed via email that the chair was picked up and inquired about the refund. Today is my fourth attempt in four business days to contact ***************** No one will pick up the phone after a ***** minute wait.

      Purchased a rug and two custom chairs from Ballards Ft Worth Tx location. Rug received chairs cannot be located and an attempt to charge my account was made by ********************. Multiple calls to resolve and a personal visit has not provided a resolution as to where these chairs are. Was told 3 weeks ago they were shipped but not tracking informaton provided and Ballards cannot resolve.

      I ordered two planters, cost $250.00. My address is *****************, they were delivered to ********************* to no fault of mine. **************** did nothing to help. They only said they would attempt to pick them up three days later and IF returned I would get a refund. This is ridiculous. I am not understanding why they cant be picked up today and delivered to me. IF the people they delivered to do not return them then I'm out 250$. This is HORRIBLE customer service.

      I ordered a set of six custom made matching dining chairs in March 2024. They were promised in June 2024. In June 2024 Ballard Designs cancelled my order. They assisted with another order of six custom made matching dining chairs =. The ship date for these was August 2024. After many delays, the chairs were finally delivered in December 13, 2024. However, one chair does not match the others. They promised to send me a new chair but six weeks later, no chair. I have made many phone calls and emails to this company. No success. I filed a dispute with my credit card for the $3047.88 I already paid for these chairs and Ballard Designs fought the dispute, so they still have my $3047.88 pending resolution of the dispute and I have mismatched chairs they promised to make right but still have not. I have many emails documenting my correspondence with ******* contact at Ballard Designs is ******** ******* **********

      Credit of $550 was offered via email for constant issues with the process. Have been going back and forth for months and NOW that item is delivered will not refund credit that was in writing that would be credited back. Have email from 8/13 that confirms the credit that was never offered from representative ***.

      I ordered an ottoman on April 2nd this year. The order has been delayed numerous times, and when I finally reached out to cancel the order they would not allow me to. The order has been delayed by almost 6 months. I no longer want this item. I used affirm to finance this purchase and I have not been billed yet, I am supposed to be billed upon arrival of the order.

      -June 13th ordered from Ballard Designs -July 8th, still don't have table I ordered. Ballard Designs and their shipping company have sent my cafe set to two locations (******** and **), neither being my home address (which is LA). Received excuses, fake apologies and silence. I've asked them to refund my order multiple times Three weeks late (from original intended delivery) and hours of wasted time and energy.
