Business checking account has been compromised too many times to count over the last 12 months. Fraudulent charges sometimes take 60 days to get credited back to my account. Never receive calls about obviously fraudulent charges, some from overseas. Always promised a call back from a manager but the calls never come. If you have a business or even a personal checking account, do not use ********************************************************************. **************** is non-existant.Delta Community Credit Union

I wanted to open an *** account with a very large check. On several occasions, I was told there was no one in the office that could help me. They had to call outside the office every time to speak with someone to open the account. The wait to talk to the person to open the account took so long. I had to leave to go to work. So , they gave me a number to call myself. The wait was very long then the call dropped.. I feel some should be onsite to handle such a common process.Delta Community Credit Union

Dont bank with these people. No early deposits No perks ********** account incentives For me being able to access my direct deposit a little early helps me out a lot but Ive since switched over to them the experience has been less the positive. The customer service is trash and they cant help you get anything. Ive been getting the same check deposited in my account for a year and the same time each month and Im always having the same issue. Im struggling right now all because you literally wont give me MY MONEY till the middle of the day on the 15thDelta Community Credit Union

Upon learning of our member’s review, a senior leader conducted a thorough
investigation into the issues raised and has since engaged with the member
directly to address all concerns. We explained to the member that the Credit
Union does not receive direct deposits until the specified settlement date set
by the payor. Although the deposit may appear as "pending" in the
member's account, we do not physically receive the funds until the settlement
date.
Institutions that offer early access to pending payments may
charge a fee for the convenience and assume risk by advancing the monies before
they have cleared. Regulatory agencies have been critical of the practice and acted
against institutions that do not account for it properly.
Delta
Community currently offers three types of checking accounts that are tailored
to meet the preferences and needs of different consumers—Free Checking with no
monthly service fee or minimum balance requirement; SpendSafe® Checking with
no-overdraft fees; and Interest Checking. All of these accounts include a host
of complimentary features, including access to robust online and mobile banking
applications as well as person-to-person payments via Zelle. We also have a
reputation for managing the Credit Union’s balance sheet and finances in a
conservative way, so we can deliver consistent value and stability through
varying economic cycles.

"Delta Community Credit" has cold-called me every day for the last 5 days with four calls in a row and not leaving a message. I have messaged that I am with a patient, the call is ended, and they call back immediately. LIke a robocall. I answered last Friday, finally on the fourth call and was met wtih silence. I blocked their number, but the unwanted calls continue into this week with a different Atlanta number, still identified as them. It's looking like a scam and so I'm here to report them.Delta Community Credit Union

Every time I go into ********** branch with a particular manager that there she always gives me a problem! I deposited a government check for a decent amount of money. She said it would be a hold on it and only released some. This mind you is a US GOVERNMENT issued check and it is still on hold? Ive been in this branch on several times and get other managers that has helped for the same high dollar amount not government issued and have clear in a couple days. This was deposited on the 16th and here it is 23rd and still havent cleared and I saw her look at me and the check, I knew it was going to be a problem and yes Im a member. This only happens with this manager and Im really thinking of banking at another branch because of it!Delta Community Credit Union

I no longer live in *******. I have a credit card balance there. Im calling into the branch I use. Because I couldnt answer one question right to do with my pin. They will not give me any answer. They stopped sending me a bill. So my payment is late and they will not take my payment and hang up on me. This never happened to me when I lived in ******. I want an answer and how much I owe and the interest paid. They will not corporate with me. Then hang up on me. I want to move the CC dept to a local credit union here in *****. The **** call center or customer service department are the most unhelpful, inept people. Every time I call, the agent has an attitude and they give incorrect information. Consequently, I have to call several times and each time, the information is different. And because of this attitude, they make it sound like it's my fault. For example, one agent said, "You must have heard it wrong." Really? You all record the calls, why don't you listen and act on them. There's no way you can't hear this attitude because it's every time with different agents. I am thinking of closing my accounts with **** because of the hassle dealing with these customer service agents.Delta Community Credit Union

Get your credit card from a different company. DCU will break you financially. I didn't realize I was being charged 50% in interest until I started using the credit card almost a year later. I have good credit, and out of all the credit cards I have, this is the worst, even if you work for Delta they will take advantage of you financially. Take my advice, do not get a credit card from them if you do not want to have a high financial loss in debt. This is the worst credit card interest rate I have ever had in my life. You will be paying off this debt for a long time because most of your payments will go toward the interest rate instead of paying off your account. I regret having this card through them, and I will cut it up.Delta Community Credit Union

Although consumer privacy rules prevent us from discussing specific activity with any members account, we have made numerous attempts to contact this member and would appreciate the opportunity to speak with him and address his concerns directly.
Please know that our **** Platinum Rewards credit card is priced with three interest rate tiers, and the base tier currently reflects an Annual Percentage Rate (APR) of 15%, which is well below the industry rates on other credit cards that feature a similar no annual fee structure and a rewards points program. We believe the incorrect rate cited in the review stems from a misunderstanding of the monthly minimum required payment and how dollars from such a payment are allocated between principal balance and interest owed.

Delta is a discrimination bank. I paid my mortgage on the 5 and they would hold the mortgage for several days. I spoke to the representatives to understand why and no one can give you a precise answer. I spoke to others home owners tha are African Americans and they stayed the same has happened to them. Delta should not hold mortgages for seven days and allow other purchases to come out so that they can access fees and other penalties to the consumers. I have access penalties because of this. We need to be refunded. Law prevents lenders from attempting to collect payments from people's bank accounts in ways that *** rack up excessive fees or deviate from what they expect. CFPA section **** authorizes State attorneys general and State regulators to bring an enforcement action to pursue violations of section 1036(a)(1)(A), which makes it unlawful for a covered person or service provider to violate any Federal consumer financial law. Although consumer privacy rules prevent us from discussing specific activity with any members account, we can address Ms. **** assertion that Delta Community may be deliberately delaying or ordering the settlement of payments in a way that results in fees. Such structuring is not permissible from a regulatory standpoint; subject to fines; and runs counter with our founding ideal and mission. Delta Community does not engage in this practice.
We can also advise all consumers to be mindful of common holds placed on large-balance deposit items under Reg. CC if placing funds into an account to cover a payment with a near-term due date, so the full amount is available when the payment is processed. Most institutions will consider releasing system-driven holds upon the consumers request and stated need.
It is also important to note that Ms. **** issue reached a manager in our ******* Services area prior to her review being shared with us, and the manager offered special accommodation to reach a resolution that ********** accepted and appreciated.
