    I am submitting this complaint regarding the Elaine Sterling Institute due to severe harassment, discrimination, and negligence by the administration and staff, which impacted my education and mental ************* a cosmetology student, I endured repeated instances of verbal abuse, bullying, and intimidation from instructors and students. One instructor, in particular, targeted me with verbal harassment and threats, refusing to teach me foundational skills essential to my education. Despite providing documented evidence, including a recording of the abuse, the administration consistently sided with the instructor and failed to address my concerns. Instead, my confidentiality was breached by ******* *****, worsening the harassment. The administration showed blatant disregard for student welfare by neglecting to act on reports of bullying and discrimination. When this was going on These hostile conditions created an environment where I was isolated, unsupported, and unable to learn effectively. The situation escalated to the point where I had to submit a Borrower Defense claim, as I believe this schools negligence justifies the discharge of my student loans.This experience has left me unconfident in my abilities as a cosmetologist, despite my dedication and prior experience in the beauty industry. I hope this complaint prompts accountability from the Elaine Sterling Institute and protects future students from similar harm. I had instructors refusing to instruct me, which were **** ***** ******************* and ***** ****** and the instructor that caused me. The worst trauma bullied, harassed me had other students bully and harassed me and tarnished my character around campus to students and instructors was **** *****. when I kept reporting him, it created bigger retaliation and the biggest retaliation was him having a student/my tires and another students tires because we were the main ones reporting the wrong he was doing.

    I do not recommend this place. Beware my credit cards and license was stolen out of my wallet while was I was getting a massage. All of my items were placed in a box under the massage table during the massage by me. All items had to have been taken during the massage. I spent the next few hours canceling credit cards, contacting the banks and credit bureaus to make sure my credit was locked. I have to get a new license and new cards. I filed a police report. Be careful!!!! if you do come here. There is a police station next door and people still get robbed at this mall all the time.

    Good Morning ******* and thank you for your communication concerning your Issues and dissatisfaction. It is with this type of communication, we can better improve our daily practices and put into place better solutions for all. While I am unaware that fighting has taken place and have received no other statements regarding actual fights, I will take this information and address with the entire team to ensure that all students, clients, and staff are always safe. We strive for an excellent educational experience for our students and are committed to putting into place those practices that allow us to deliver those results.     The Elaine Sterling Institute took $2500 from me for a one week laser course and I never heard from them again. I was initially told that the institute is frequently contacted by dermatology clinics, medical esthetics clinics, and plastic surgeons seeking out graduates of their laser program for employment opportunities and that they refer their students to those inquiries. For months following completion of my pricey one week course I contacted the Elaine Sterling Institute asking whether theyd referred me to any clinics and I was given the same canned response each time, just stringing me along. The Elaine Sterling Institute did manage to give Elaine Sterlings daughter an opportunity to work at a plastic surgeons office, though. But nothing but crickets for me. *** requested a refund of my $2500 from the Elaine Sterling Institute for the waste of my money, time, and career hopes. I also found Elaine to be haughty, pretentious, and unfriendly. Shes way too self-absorbed and power hungry. Dont buy into her online presence and inspiring story because she didnt show any concern for me when I met her. Shes snobby. Its all about Elaine. Just return my money for the con job.
