      Cotiviti representatives have been calling me for several years because they think my number is a medical center. At first I would correct them and give the right number, only for the same representative to call me again. I stopped answering. They left what I assume to be confidential patient information on my voicemail. I blocked their numbers. They would call me from different numbers. I changed my greeting to give the correct number to the medical center TWICE in Spanish and English, specifically requesting that they do not leave a message. Most recently, a representative left a message for the same medical center, but using an ALTERNATE name. ****, so hilarious. Cotiviti doesn't care about accuracy or confidentiality.

      This company is awful. My wife and I received a letter from them saying our prior insurance carrier had been billed by our hospital during the birth of our child. We no longer had this policy and the hospital made a mistake and double billed two insurances instead of the correct only. So this third party Cotiviti says we need to call the hospital and get them to their refund!If not then we will be responsible to refund the $5,324. So we were annoyed and called the hospital. Not only had they already spoke to Cotiviti but were already on record stating they would issue the refund to the carrier. Yet these people from Cotiviti have the audacity to not only threaten us but also get us involved to do their dirty work!!! Absolutely awful company and I can see why they have a one star and F rating with BBB!

      This company is relentless when trying to obtain records. They call 3-4 times a DAY inquiring on the status, even AFTER I've confirmed we have the request and will submit them within the 30 day requested time frame. Then they leave threatening voicemails stating they will just keep calling. I now block their number and wait until day 29 to upload the records.
