    My complaint is against HTS of Chamblee GA( Home Town Studios Extended Stay of Chamblee GA). I reserved a room for the week of April 8, 2024, for $492.70. I checked in at the front desk and paid for my room. Immediately there were red flags and I had been there less than thirty minutes. I asked if there was a luggage carrier since my room was on the second floor and at the far end of the building. I was told, "Yes, but no one knows where it is". Instead I was provided with a laundry cart use for dirty linen to take my luggage to my room. I was hoping once I got to my room things would began to improve but I was wrong. I finally got to my room and I was horrified, The room had not been cleaned from the last stay. Dirty wet towels were on the bathroom floor, the bed was not made from the last people that were in the room, the trash had not been taken out...In short The room was disgusting. I immediately went back to the front desk and requested a refund and informed the front desk why. I was told my refund would be on my card in five to seven days. After requesting a refund I reserved a room at Budget Extended Stay in *********, **. This was a major inconvenience and cost an additional $315.00. I filing a complaint against Home Towne Studios for a full refund of the first room that they left filthy prior to my arrival as well as the inconvenience and cost of reserving an additional room for $315,00 at another extended stay. I am demanding a full refund in the amount of $807.70.

    5-11-2023 charge of $345 for room reservation -I arrived at the facility only to find the lobby during business hours (approximately 5:10 pm on 5/9).After knocking on the door for several minutes someone came and unlocked the door. The same employee began checking me in. During the check in process, a man came into the lobby and an altercation between the man and another worker behind the counter. There was loud yelling between these two near me in the Lobby area. The worker helping me handed me my room entry card, so I began to leave. As I was leaving the other worker was calling the police. I began to feel uneasy about staying at this facility. I went straight away to inspect the room that was assigned to me (without taking time to go back to my car). I found the room to be totally unacceptable. The bed was unmade and sheets were visibly dirty , no pillow cases, no toilet paper, soap and no towels. There was also a fowl odor in the room. I immediately returned to the office to say I did not feel safe to stay at the establishment. When I arrive at the Lobby the door was locked and this time my knocking did not bring anybody to the door. A police car had now arrived and was parked at the entrance. I asked the police office if they knew where the staff was and they replied that they did not. I called Red Roof Inn corporate office to explain my predicament and a nice lady there said she would talk with the manager of the facility if I was willing to wait until she returned to the lobby. After 10 or 15 minutes, we both decided we had to go. She quickly secured me another place to stay at one of their Red Roof facilities. She also suggested I call the manager of the Home Towne Studio facility first thing next morning to request a refund. I did just that and was told the manager was unavailable but that she would call me back that morning. She did not call me back. Nor did she call me back after multiple other attempts. Red Roof Inn Guest Relations not helpful at all.

    On 25 May checked in to the hotel, paid for a full week. Upon check-in security deposit was required, and I discussed the service animal that was with me. No mention of the deposit being kept because of the service animal. Left and checked out of the hotel following the stay and fif not receive the deposit due to cleaning because of a pet. Left the room in very reasonable condition deposit should have been returned.

    On 2/28/23 Hometowne studio Chamblee **************************************, denied me access to my room stating payment was approved but the check will be issued by mail. Mert front desk, adamantly denied payment issued by card from ********** on my behalf in the amount of $481.00 which totals 7days was not provided. I was asked to informed to leave on the 27th of Feb 2023 if payment was not made by 11am on 3/1:23 From 11am-8:28pm with the exception of 4hrs as I met with **************** of ********** who in fact worked diligently to secure payment. The payment was issued by card, on 2/28/23 which go against what Mert of Hometowne Studios informed me that night. Also, I had to reach out to a family member who in fact paid ($39) by card to Mert after payment by ********** was already submitted but not mentioned.. Note: I called throughout the day after my meet with **************** and ***** (GM) informed me no payment was made. By 5:30pm on said date, I made my last call with ***** which she informed me shes unsure what process took place, adding the Sales-manager for HMS did call and she would call back to clarify, I never received that callback! As HTS close business hrs was approaching, I returned only to be met with lies, theft and deception! **************** on 3/2/23 informed me that a payment by card in the amount of $481.00 was issued on 2/28/23 and in fact was done by card on my behalf! The rooms are in poor condition;roaches, fowl order, appliances not working causing food to spoil, leaked in ceiling, guests are charged for toilet paper, laundry room has only one working washer with guests being told Wash at your own risk.Front desk and management befriends guest then deceived them; people are robbed of peace as well money. When I inquired about a name and number for corporate, ***** stated:They dont care and info was denied to me. *****, ****, ***** and Sert all of HTS who play a role in evil acts at the guest expense. All concerns are met with threats.
