    I first contacted Interiors by Lamar at the end of 2019, early 2020 and everything seemed to go smoothly, I was even helped with a property but never finished the process due to covid-19 and having to rush to set up work from home. I had only paid the $475 admin fee at the time through cash app. I didnt think anything was wrong no red flags so now that I needed to start and go through the process, I paid the $475 admin fee again, this time apparently the company changed from Interiors by Lamar to Lux corporate living(still no red flags, companies change or update names at times)and they are now using Apple pay or Venmo. Still no red flags until I paid the company $1428 for an apartment that was supposed to be approved, I was due to pick up my keys in 3 days time. All of a sudden there was an issue with the complex that didnt make sense, but we moved on to attempt another location. well after sending ******* multiple locations to apply to, no response, no update, finally I called and when he answered the person I had been speaking to named *******, he answered and said his name was ******* and said ******* was out of the office. I know I was speaking with the same person, it was obvious but I didnt say anything I asked for a return call, come Monday when I didnt hear from them I asked for a refund of my months rent of $1428, I was told no we should have an update/answer by end of the day, no calls or emails, no apartment and no refund. Sorry I didnt see the red flags sooner, but its clear they are not a legitimate company and apple cash has advised me to file a police report due to approx $1900 and no service.
