      This internet is horrible and the customer services is atrocious...I cancelled my services 1 week after I received the internet and they still charged my card for the next month...It was so bad that I just went back to my old provider which I am extremely grateful for...it is going to be the first and last time I leave Xfinity because of false promises another company makes...Earthlink should be called No link because that's what you get no service!!!

      We do apologize that ****************** was unsatisfied with his internet service, this is very out of the normal and for that we'd like to apologize. There are many mitigating factors that are outside of EarthLink's control. Such as, weather, degraded lines, and faulty/damaged equipment. We apologize that his experience wasn't everything you he thought it would be, we do our best to recommend the best plan for a customer based on their ******************** usage, however it's clear we've missed the ****. We will look further at the situation and take this feedback to our technical team.

      Earthlink internet service. I had this service for 2 years without issue. Now, ,I have not had steady or realisable service for over a month. They have failed to fix the issue and have failed to show up and send a technician. When this happens, I go to the back of the line again. I need internet service to run my business mydaughter needs it for high school, my son needs it for college. They simply do not care. When I attempt to cancel my service, I am transferred to the customer retention ***** They run there scripted responses, do not listen to your request to cancel and frustrate you until you are ready to scream. Should you lose your temper they automatically terminate your call. Their goal is to frustrate you enough and keep you on the phone forever until you simply give up trying to end service. I now have no choice but to cancel my debt card, report them to my financial banking provider and end the madness by going around there unscrupulous tactics. Be forewarned!

      I understand that **************** was frustrated by the speed of his internet and wanted to have better speeds. It looks like the customer called in to have his service cancelled and was transferred to retention, who instead of canceling his service tried to sale other options. I apologize that instead of doing what was requested at the time they tried to sell something that was not wanted. Upon looking at **************** account I see that it is now inactive and the money has been returned. It is not EarthLink's policy to try and sell out customer's something that they are not wanting, and again I do apologize that this happened. EarthLink's goal is to always make sure that our customer's are happy and if that means letting them go to another provider who can service them at their location, better than we are at the time. Again, I would like to extend our apologies that **************** was left frustrated and had the sense that we do not care.

      Will not refund payment if you cancel 3 says after payment and you did not have any service for that time period. **************** is not very helpful. **** services won't return calls. Paid for fast internet and could only get 1 mgb download speed. Definitely not worth your time or money. Would not recommend to anyone.

We will take this as a learning experience and teach the agents that when they state that they are going to call back we need to call. Earthlink does take pride in customer experience, so we are going to work to improve the customer experience and support. We will be refunding you the full amount that was paid, so please allow 3-5 business days for this to reflect in your account. We will also be sending the return label, so that the customer can send the modem back to us and not be charged the modem fee. Again, we here at EarthLink do our best to ensure that our customers are happy with the service that they received, and we will take this back as a learning *******
