  A gentleman from this company came by with some really long winded explanation of needing to earn ****** points to help him train for a career and selling magazines to earn point. I heard him out and when he asked what information Id like, I politely asked to see a website or some other information about this company because I didnt know if this was real or just a scam. His immediate response was that I must be a racist for questioning the veracity of his claims. I told him I was incredibly insulted by his comment and told him the conversation was over and closed the door. If hes not even willing to tell me about the organization and provide references it sure sounds like a scam to me.

  While my roommate and I were working in the front yard, picking up the debris from a storm, these two gentlemen, one by the name of ******(or ******) and the other ******, approached us while they were smoking and walking on the street. They introduced themselves and told us about their purpose and organization. They gave us a lot of compliments and fist bumps. Too many. It seemed their cause was to help people, by selling magazines subscriptions that we pay for. They get a commission. Even if i could not see directly who I am helping, only that it was one of many organizations in need, which they listed. I attempted to purchase a subscription by paying through an app. They filled out an invoice by hand and everything, and gave me a receipt. After they had left, my app refunded me the money saying that it was possibly being scammed, so I accepted the money back and did some research, which is when I found terrible reviews on Yelp, and the lack of existance of the programs and organizations they were claiming to help and send magazines to. Who even sends magazines to help any more? Of course they would offer something like this to make people soft and give money, and them receiving the cash or check would make sure that the giver never even knows they are being scammed, stolen from. They tried to take advantage during/after a storm when all the police is helping with something else and people are distracted, or in our case, just tending to our destroyed yard. Please make this business not legitimate any more. The people who run it are probably experienced criminals who know how to scam, almost-legally.

  Well I feel dumb wasting money a month before my wedding. I experienced everything described by Finding Eudaimonia in 2021. I've read all of the company's responses to comments calling them scammers. In most cases they blame the individual salesperson. However, if so many people have the same experience with different salespeople, they're all getting the same information from somewhere. Additionally, they also typically refer to disclaimers on the receipt. As customary in a transaction, I didn't get a receipt until after I paid.I paid through Cash App and submitted a refund request as soon as I read these reviews. I also followed the instructions for a refund found on the receipt. We'll see how it goes.

  A person purportedly from your organization came to my door Saturday. I heard his pitch and told him I would like to check the organization out before making a decision. He was very polite and gave me your website to check, along with his phone number. Reading your website and more importantly your responses to the reviews here gives me a lot more confidence on both the legitimacy and purpose. Thanks!

  Tonight around 7pm a man came to the door representing D&T connections. I was in another room but he talked to my wife for about 20 minutes with one of the usual stories about trying to make a better life for his son until she finally got her checkbook out. Ive been approached by these types of salesmen before and am not very trusting of them, so I came out and politely told him no. He instantly changed his tone and got super aggressive. I again told him we werent interested and he started cussing us out as he walked away. My young children (2 and 4 y/o) were standing beside me as he dropped the * bomb and told me that karma was gonna bite me in the a**.

  To ************* were really sorry that this happened to you especially in front of your kids. I wish you would have called our company first to describe the salesperson to one of our customer service representatives so we could reprehend him, thats definitely against our company policy. There are quite a few different companies in your area selling magazines. Once again were sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
