      Hmmmm Where should I start???? First off, ************** is always trying to tell me what is wrong with me, instead of ACTUALLY listening to my, and I ABSOLUTELY HATE THAT!!!! He is ALWAYS and I do mean ALWAYS prescribing me ******! That doesnt solve problems all the time. I am schedule to take a colonoscopy EVERY 1-2 years, but I call the office, and they tell me every 3 years. Ive had Crohns over 20+ years now, and that AUTOMATICALLY puts me in a bracket for every 1-2 years because I am at a higher risk for colon cancer, but they disregard my wishes! Last time I checked, AGA nor ************** doesnt pay for my colonoscopy, my insurance company does! Then his medical assistant is rude, VERY!!!!!! She ALWAYS and I LITERALLY mean ALWAYS answers the phone as if patients are getting on her nerves! Theres NOT ONE time Ive called and had a warm welcoming over the phone! Shes so nonchalant in conversations over the phone. As a patient receiving care there, I shouldnt experience BAD customer service, EVER!!! Her tone over the phone is so dead. Literally, try his medical assistants line and see how she answers. Everyone in there has basically needs an attitude adjustment and a course on customer service, with the exception of MAYBE like three people. Its crazy there. My D-Dimer was high in the *** and I call to schedule an colonoscopy ASAP, and Im told his schedule is full and I cant be seen until the end of ***, remind you were in April right now. Im literally concerned blood clots and ** told at the end of *** is when I can be seen! Again, Ive literally tried to schedule a colonoscopy over the phone MONTHS ago, and was told something different, smh Man ol man, the experiences Ive had with AGA on ****** Mill Road. Something has got to change, meanwhile if anyone knows of an OUTSTANDING GI in the Atlanta, please let me know.

      Upon trying to schedule a 3 year follow-up procedure as said to me directly by the previous doctor, I was told by the staff that he said do in 5 years. With the office losing my records, how would they know? Thankfully, the newly assigned doctor thought it best to be safe and do the 3-year follow-up and go from there. So glad I didnt follow the staffs recommendation to wait 2 more years because a sizable polyp was found, the biggest in my history. What would have happened had I waited 2 more years?! This staff is the worst. No etiquette, no professionalism, no empathy, no sense of urgency! More than once, Ive had to pushback on the $500 fee BECAUSE MY INSURANCE COVERS, insurance previously provided. To lazy to verify. You can NEVER reach office staff via phone, EVER!. Twice I opted to have someone call me back since it was offered and nothing!!! No callback. On my last visit, in front of my new doctor, her personal medical assistant provided an extension for me to contact her if I needed further assistance with my upcoming procedure. I needed to clarify when to stop taking my meds (because NOTHING WAS IN THE INSTRUCTIONS), I left 2 voicemails on over a few days. No returned call. When I finally got her, she flippantly said she had not checked her messages. I received 4 sets of pre-op instructions all saying something different. I chose what to do based on previous, unrelated procedures because I could not get clarification. I called a separate prep line and getting help there was like pulling teeth too. For colon cancer to be a matter of life or death, I cannot believe the lackadaisical, unprofessional, culture that is apparently the norm. When I raised the issue with the physician in the office, how poorly ran the office staff was, she said I have the same issue, thats it. I tried to express to her post procedure, how awful my experience was, how I got sick because (I believe) I didnt get the best pre-op process, she simply said the same. No care at all!

      I had a procedure done in August of 2022 and fully self paid, no problems there. I received a bill February 2023 for the same amount, from a different Doctor. When I call the billing department to get it cleared up, they explained that they switched something over in their system and the bill was sent by mistake. So, how exactly does that happen? How unorganized is their billing department? or What kind of fraudulent, unethical behavior is going on over there? How many people who get double billed will just pay twice because they give their Dr. ****** the benefit of the doubt? I guarantee they will gladly let you pay twice if you don't speak up. Some seriously shady, probably illegal stuff going on with their billing department. These people should be investigated for fraud. Avoid at all costs.

      This is a PATIENT MILL Do not go here. Check the reviews everywhere. You wouldn't eat at a restaurant this bad so don't go somewhere this bad for your health. They do not return your call, I have been calling every day with burning insides and nobody even bothers calling back. The call center takes calls and then tells you you'll get a call back. Don't believe the lies. Go anywhere but here if you value your health.

      My procedure was scheduled at 10:30. I arrive d a little after 10. I was a nervous wreck. The receptionist was pleasant. ******* was so sweet and gentle in her tone and could probably tell I was a little on edge. She made me feel so comfortable and I was in good hands. ******************** and ********** good bedside manners. **********, and ******* very compassionate. My overall experience at 550 peachtree was SUPERB!!! So many times people take time to complaint but dont ever take time to recognize exceptional skilled people. Yes of course 5 Stars!!!!!!

      While I will give Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates' Doctors a high ***** I will never go there again. Their front desk staff (at 550 Peachtree) is worthless and rude and their billing department even worse. They charged me a $500 deposit/copay before they would do my procedure and now my insurance has paid 100%. I have spent "hours" on the phone (when they actually answer) trying to get a response as to when to expect my refund. I assure you, if I owed them $500, they would be hounding me to death for it (if not sending it to collections). Perhaps I should contact a collections agency and request they start calling AGA daily requesting my refund. HORRIBLE experience and from reading the other reviews here and on other sites, it sounds like I am not in this situation alone.

      I have been trying since the beginning of June to get an appt with this practice as I'm in need of refills for my RX. I have made many calls (long wait times) and emailed the practice. I have not received a response to my emails nor phone calls.
