    I do not recommend anyone to go to American Health Imaging to have a CT scan done. For one (1), they outsource your imaging and two (2) they will give you an incomplete and a misdiagnosis report. In their written report, they will put the the word patent, are patent, and appreciated all over the report, with no measurement what so ever in the report leaving you with more concern and uncertainty .

    American Health Imagings website and the staff provide false advertisement to their patients which involves deceptive and misleading promises with respect to providing certain services related to insurance benefits and insurance authorization.All my attempts to resolve this matter with a manager of the ****************** location for over a month have been unsuccessful. They keep blaming my insurance company for applying the charges to my deductibles and totally fail to recognize their responsibility (stated on their website) *********************************************************** to provide to me in advance full information about my insurance benefits and financial responsibilities to the company for their services. It appears that American Health Imagings website misleads their patients by stating that they are here to ease your concerns by quickly 2) Confirming your insurance benefits; 3) Obtaining the necessary insurance authorization Such statements made me feel that the staff would give me a full and honest information of the costs of the procedure. Nothing above was provided to me. The $452.60 invoice was a totally surprise medical bill.

    Lack of professionalism available. The receptionist at the *********** location sounded like she was alseep when she answered and was unable to answer a basic question on rather they had an open or closed MRI. If this is a representation of the company then it is a no go for me for referrals as a healthcare professional. Also no corporate information available on their website to call.

    I had an MRI. I paid the deductible and the copay. The charges were *****. 00. My Insurance paid ******** There was a fee of ****** that they called "adjusted fee". I paid the bill that was sent to me. Later there was another bill without disclosing what was it about. I called my insurance and we were on a three line. I assumed that was the end of it. Later, I received a bill for *****. I have been trying to paid it but they could not take the payment because when I call the local office, they refer me to their **************** office. There, the representative cannot locate such bill ID. The online portal is worthless. When I enter the bill # it cannot find it. I called their ******************* They stated "I am so sorry for you, I understand but I cannot find the bill". The "greatest help" they provided was to send me to the "****************************". It is some type of ******************* They finally took the payment. It is a big headache to deal with AMERICAN HEALTH IMAGING.

    DO NOT GO HERE!!! Before I went to get my MRI. The receptionist verified that they were in network and made sure that I didnt have a copay. She told me that I met my out of packet so I didnt have to pay anything. While I was there, in person. A month later, I was billed over eight thousand dollars (****+) because they are now saying Humana was out of network. I called the billing and they said also that they were in network and didnt know why I was being billed for that crazy amount. Someone was going to look into it and I would receive a call in 30 days. I didnt get a call just another bill saying my **************** is out of network. No one knows how to bill correctly.
