    I emailed customer service because i paid extra for a quick ship (item ships within 1 week) item. The item is now taking 5 weeks to ship. During the encounter I was called snarky by the customer agent - named ***********************. No reasonable attempt was made to fix the situation.

    Hi,For starters, this person did not pay extra for quick ship as they are stating. Our company does not have an option of paying an extra fee that will provide an expedited service. We have never had such a fee in the 19 years of operation. We do acknowledge that the order is taking longer than originally expected and this is due to our manufacturer not notifying us of delays in their supply chain. As soon as we found out about the extended lead time, we immediately notified the customer of the delay and provided the reason for the delay. Our quick action was helping the customer to be able to make revisions to to their order, getting the timing back on track. In addition to notifying the customer, we offered two extremely reasonable attempts to solve the customers concerns of lead time. The first attempt would have resulted in the customer getting the exact items they wanted in the exact time frame they expected, just with two separate deliveries (instead of one single delivery). While this solution may not have been 110% perfect, it was pretty good as again, it would have allowed for the original order to arrive in the time frame expected. This option would have cost our company more money (due to the need for a second delivery) and we would have covered the extra cost. The second attempt at providing a reasonable solution would have resulted in a small modification to just the umbrella base and would have not only allowed the customer to receive their umbrella on time, but would have lowered their overall cost by about 33%. Both recommendations were met with a critical, mocking and abusive tone. Our co-worker(s) handling this ticket felt threatened. All we were trying to do was help, but the customer replied with "unacceptable". As we look back at yesterday's interaction, we still believe the options we offered were reasonable. Please note that we also offered a full refund. That is when the customer replied "Keep the order as is. I will be cancelling if I can find the umbrella elsewhere", which puts us in a difficult situation. We are currently jumping through hoops to try and get this customer their order as quickly as possible, while at the same time, it seems like they may cancel at any moment.Lastly, we believe it's extremely inappropriate to call out a persons' full name in a public forum.

    Ordered over $8 thousand dollars worth of outdoor furniture in September of 2021. As of October 2022 I still have not received the item. Every month I get an email saying they are pushing the shipment out to the next month (I've gotten about 9 of these emails to date).Stay away from this company. Consider yourself warned.
