  I searched ****** for a local towing company when my car broke down in **************. National Roadside, also operating as RoadSync, misrepresented themselves as a local towing service. Concerned about the situation but needing assistance, I reluctantly provided my credit card information after they assured me that a tow truck would arrive shortly.Despite their promise of service within one hour, no tow truck ever arrived. When I tried calling the same number I initially used, I received an error message as if the number were invalid. Later, I received a call from a representative named ****** who claimed he couldnt find a tow truck but had arranged for a sister company to assist. He then informed me that I would need to pay the driver an additional $100 in cash upon arrival.Realizing the situation was likely a scam, I declined the service and requested a cancellation. Despite this, the company charged my credit card $244.38, and repeated attempts to dispute the charge have been unsuccessful due to the complexity of the claims process.Adding to the concern, the work order (invoice) sent to me contained no identifiable company details such as a physical address or emailonly a toll-free 800 number. The bottom of the page cryptically referenced Powered by RoadSync along with a local phone number, further obscuring the company's true identity.This experience was distressing and financially harmful, and I urge others to be cautious when dealing with National Roadside or RoadSync.

  This is a third party company. So May 15, 2024 my car broke down on 635 here in ******, I called several towing companies but had no luck. I called RoadSync at ******* and they said they could send a tow truck. So they asked for my CC information (which I sadly gave them) and they sent me a receipt showing Assaria towing was coming. Well they never came, so I called RoadSync back but she was unable to get hold of Assaria Towing because phone number was not in service. So I told her to cancel it that day which she replied "Ok".I called today May 23 to RoadSync and tell her what happened, and she informed me that they could not give the money back since it was sent to ******* towing. I asked her "how am I getting the money back if I cannot get hold of anyone at ******* towing". She attempted to call them again which she had no luck. Then she told me that I would have to dispute the charge with my CC company. Do not use RoadSync -- They are the one that took my CC information and charged me $130.00 dollars for service that was never rendered. Plus, a good ****** for me was never give my CC number before service was done but I was in a bad situation.
