      Someting definitely seems amiss with this group. I wonder if they might be a scam. I considered registering last year for the *************** because it appeared they had a lot of great speakers lined up and you could attend virtually (or supposedly watch the recordings later). I did not register last year. This year I got a follow up email with a discount code. I attempted to register using the discounted amount. However, the invoice that came back was for the full amount (which did not match what was submitted on the online form). Thankfully my credit card company flagged their attempted charge for the full amount and I was not charged. I still thought this might be legitimate and just some error so tried to reach out to them. No one responsed from the customer service email or from the email that was supposedly from the person at the Charlotte ******** No one answers when you call customer support. However, they did answer live chat. They sent me a link to use to pay that takes you to a site that says it is not secure. I was not comfortable with that. Today they sent a corrected invoice and the payment link is secure - however, they also sent an invoice dated 2021 for a different amount. This caused me to start doing some research. Something does not seem quite right here. There is a list of local area people that are supposed to be members of the group listed on the ********* website and I am going to see if I can reach out to any of them. I am curious if the people on that list are real.

      ************** had reached out to our customer service.  We indicated that her bill from 2021 was not paid and updated the revised invoice to reflect the correct amount. Since ************** was not able to pay the invoice via our system. We have gone ahead and cancelled out this invoice so she will not receive any past due payment.
