I will start by saying that **************** and his nursing staff are AWESOME. That is the only reason they get 2 stars! When dealing with this company and insurance or anything billing related... BEWARE! I have insurance that covers a full ivf cycle with some oop expenses. However, their error in coding caused a denial of a procedure. I was sent a surprise $3200 bill. I figured out the problem and I fixed it with my insurance company. RBA offered NO HELP. Even after that I received a $5000 bill and was told to pay before anything else could be performed. MONTHS later it was FINALLY fixed but I was given 6 days to pay the corrected amount of $1366. I was told if not payed in those 6 days, I couldn't get a surgery needed for the embryo transfer I had already started the meds for. I contacted the billing manager who basically told me that it was my responsibility to fix the mistake they made, because it's my insurance. When I asked why the mistake would be made in the first place, I was met with "my girls aren't specialists". At a time I'm not supposed to be stressed, these uneducated billing people are allowed to mess up my billing and I'm told it's my responsibility to fix. The manager, herself, gave me the incorrect amount while on the phone. I asked her to reevaluate because she was wrong and didn't even get a sorry when she discovered that she was off by almost $1500 (on a surgical deposit that ended up being $280 after she said it was $1700). When I stated that it was horrible that I had to fix my account when they get paid to do so, I was met with "well thanks for working YOUR OWN ACCOUNT" with an attitude. Billing is a joke, watch your EOB and claims like a hawk!
