This is a repair service for appliance control boards. They state 100% money back, but if it is not fixed, you will not see any money back, or get a contact/reply from them. They use ****. **** won't back you up either. You are on your own. They will take your money!! False advertising to get you to spend your money.Don't use them! Please be aware!UpFix

My #1 complaint-Non Existent Customer Service.#2 complaint- Poor Workmanship. The whole story: I sent my 2009 Prius MFD screen to UpFix for repair in July, 2024. The reason was the screen was intermittent and had vertical lines. They sent it back and said it was now good to go with a $195 charge. I installed it in the car and it appeared to have the same issue. I was given a RMD to return, I packed it in the same EXCELLENT box and form fitting foam and returned it for another attempt. This is where the communication and repair went BAAAAD. After numerous calls, messages, yadda, yadda, I was able to speak with ******, one of the techs familiar with my case. He reassured me he would look into why it was returned and where is was in the process. After several days I called ****** and he told me it was nearly completed and would be returned shortly. After a few more days the *** delivered the UpFix box with part of my MFD protruding from two hole punched in the box. I opened the box to find only half of the previous EXCELLENT foam padding used. The other half was not used. I took pictures of the box and padding and also discovered a s**** missing and two guide pins broken and missing. I reported this to UpFix after installing it to find it still was in operating condition and actually worked. I have copies of all photos and correspondence from me, nothing in return from them. The last thing they said to me after my protest was "we are reviewing your claim and will get back to you". This is October 4, 2024 and no response to any of my communication attempts, emails or calls. My warning to you is; if you have a problem or damage, don't expect them to do ANYTHING about it. They initially tried to blame ***, but the lack of proper packaging was the cause of the holes in the box, the missing s**** and broken guide pins are from improper and careless reassembly. Workmanship is poor. Proper parts worked.UpFix

Thank you for reaching out and for providing detailed feedback about your experience. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience caused by the issues surrounding the repair of your 2009 Prius MFD screen. We understand your disappointment, particularly with the communication delays and packaging condition upon return. We carefully reviewed your case, including internal notes, communications, and the photos you provided. While we acknowledge that the packaging did not meet our usual standards, the screen was tested functional upon return, and the issues you reported were not directly attributed to the repair process itself. Based on this evaluation, we must inform you that your claim has been denied. We truly regret that your experience with us did not meet your expectations. Your feedback has been escalated to our operations team to help us improve communication and packaging procedures moving forward. Thank you again for bringing these concerns to our attention.Review fromGreg K

I spent almost $400 having them Repair my abs module for my sprinter van. the module still did not work when I got it back from them so I sent it back for them to repair again, they kept it for 2 weeks and they said it was fixed so they sent it back. when I received it, I could see damaged wiring. I've called and emailed but they just treat me like I'm stupid. they obviously don't care and they don't know what they are doing. don't waste your time with these guysUpFix

Short version: young unprofessional people answering the phones, they dont call back or they do without leaving a message. ***** in management wouldnt even get on the phone with a customer. The technicians and customer service people talk BS. I had to send my *** module back 2 times to try to solve the errors, the second time ***** lost the 1100$ part and Upfix had it insured for 100$. After the module was rebuilt the first time and I reinstalled it, other DTC codes caused lights on the dash to light. When I talked to them, the Upfix technician suggested I needed another *** part, the pump was the problem, upon replacing the pump (another 1100$ part) I had the same dash lights same DTC codes. Then the said to send it back again for real double check rebuild of the *** module, thats when ***** lost the part. After ***** lost the part it took 6 weeks to get the coordination between ***** and Upfix to get me paid the 112$ for the 1100$ part ***** lost. Upfix and ***** wouldnt talk to me to give me any information because I was the client, but Upfix paid for the economy ***** shipping. During the 6 weeks period of trying to get information about the lost part refund, Upfix customer service dropped all accountability and blamed it on *****, their problem not ours. This organization is a clown show, good luck if you work with them.UpFix

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We sincerely apologize for the stress and frustration you encountered throughout the repair and replacement process of your ABS module. From communication delays to issues with shipment handling, your experience clearly did not meet the standards we strive to uphold. We acknowledge the multiple challengesfrom the unresolved DTC codes after the first repair, to the insurance discrepancy during the ***** shipment. While we did initiate a claim and worked to secure a possible refund, we understand how disappointing the amount and the timeline were, and were sorry for the lack of clear and proactive communication during this period.Your feedback has been shared internally to review how both technical support and customer service are managed, including call handling, escalation protocols, and packaging/shipping practices. We truly regret how this unfolded and appreciate your honestyits a valuable tool to help us improve.Review fromMichael L

So the 2012 ***** 3 thru a P0101 code, shipped the *** to UpFix for repair. It returned in worst working condition than before, AT and CK engine codes, but the code scanner found no codes, trans locked up in drive, hard shift in reverse. Called UpFix spoke to tech1 and they issued a return label, *** shipped back to UpFix. The *** was returned a week later with a note stating they found "smaller components were not re flowed by the original tech. Those as well as the one that had been worked on previously were re-flowed. Two legs on the microprocessor were touching. Legs were separated." The *** was installed again only to discover it had the problems as after the first botched repair. Called UpFix spoke to the same tech1 who said tech2 would call me. Tech2 spoke to me and said he was positive the *** was repair correctly and I should look for other problems. I asked if they (UpFix) could send me a known working ***, UpFix has a exchange option, which costs more than the repair service. Tech2 told me it "didn't work like that", but if it was found that the *** was bad they would refund me what I paid for the repair. This had dragged on for 3 weeks, frustrated I took the car to the ***** dealer. They confirmed the *** was bad and the repair cost me $1,600.00. So what should had been a $300 repair ending up being $1,600 due to my choice of repair shops. UpFix did refund me what I payed them, with a 100% satisfaction guarantee they did that right, but I'm out a extra $1,300. Lots of electronics repair shops out there, consider my experience when you chose one.UpFix

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience and frustration caused during your recent interaction with UpFix.We understand how upsetting it must have been to go through a prolonged and ultimately unsuccessful repair process, only to have to seek help from a dealership and incur additional expenses. This is not the standard we aim for, and we regret that our service did not meet your expectations. While we did issue a full refund of $242.99 on December 11, 2023, we recognize that this does not undo the time, stress, and additional costs youve experienced. We are taking this matter seriously and are reviewing the repair process internally to prevent similar situations from occurring in the ********** appreciate the opportunity to regain your trust. If there is anything more we can do, please dont hesitate to reach out directly.Review fromScott F
