Around the beginning of March this year, I saw an ad on Instagram for In Motion Wellness Studio for stretch therapy. I went in and met with ******* for my consultation. He was giving me a lot of information regarding sign up and we even went through a demonstration on how the sessions will go. At sign up, I understood the program to be 4 sessions for one month for a price of $199.00. Although hesitant, I decided it was a decent price to give it a shot. He told me that a card will be put on file and the first charge will go out after my first session. After my first session, I saw a charge on my bank app and believed the payment was sent in full. After my fourth session, I was ready to say goodbyes but the staff member who ******* put me with asked when I would like to schedule my next appointment. I told her that I believed I was finished with my four sessions and all she said was, "No, you have more." Thinking that I must have lost track of my sessions, I went ahead and scheduled my next. It was around this time that I saw another charge of $199.00 and called the studio to inquire and request a refund. Not only did it take me multiple days to get in contact with the studio regarding this matter, ******* switched his kind tone and rudely explained how we discussed everything at sign up and it is in the contract. We never discussed a total $1,200 charge for the sessions (as I would not have signed up had I known this is what I would ACTUALLY be paying). He also never mentioned a cancelation fee and used waiving the fee as a resolution. I continued my dispute with my bank and although one of the two disputes were accepted, one is still denied. There are three charges from this merchant in total. The first I did not dispute because I only agreed to pay $199.00. I am wanting my last refund of $199.00 from the merchant. The conditions during sign up were not clear and I need further assistance in settling this matter.
