The quality of La-Z-Boy furniture has really gone by the wayside. Recliners are flimsy and lack the precision to even hold themselves upright. We are not happy with this overpriced "furniture". It belongs in an RV. After speaking with salespeople about a refund or replacement with something better, I do not feel like we have been represented well and do not feel like a valued customers as they claim we were outside of the 36 hour return window. Only got a chance to sit in the Trouper sectional once in 3 days to realize it's quality issues. Spent $6,500 on a terrible excuse for a couch that La-Z-Boy will not stand behind. I will report back with any positive resolution. I DO NOT recommend this furniture or this company. It is stunning that they still exist. This furniture is overpriced junk.Extreme buyers remorse. I will never Buy another La-Z-Boy and will do all I can to help others not make the same mistake that I have.La-Z-Boy

Horrible company. My mother ordered a full electric chair proclaimed to be their best seller with upgraded material. A chair that if placed in the showroom would sell quickly. Chair ordered Thanksgiving week. Just a few days later on December 3rd my 90 year old mother went into the hospital and now 6 weeks later its clear shell never sit in this chair. Called Lay z boy while chair was still in production and asked about cancelling due to the circumstances and was told to hold off until chair is finished and well discuss options then. Now the chair is ready to ship so I called back. Told there will be a 30% restocking fee (@$800) for a chair that was never delivered. Lay z boy stands to lose nothing but is more than happy to take advantage of a sick and elderly woman. Store manager could have just placed this chair on the floor but lacked the compassion to do so.La-Z-Boy

My parents bought la-Z_Boy furniture for years, and they lasted for years. When I got married, I did the same. What a mistake, the last(and final) 3 chairs I bought have been junk. The leather(along with lots of vinyl!) have peeled and broken down within a few years. The frames have loosened and broke. Will not buy this brand againLa-Z-Boy

Ordered power swivel rocker recliner in premier leather. 1st chair was assembled incorrectly and had obvious sewing flaws (puckers in leather on both straight pieces and corners). Replacement chair (wall hugger, same model) had similar sewing flaws. Refused. Was told they found a 'good' one in the warehouse. ********* similar sewing flaws. When you pay for quality, you should review quality. Requesting a total refund.La-Z-Boy

As much as I love my recliner I am dissatisfied with the company backing its product. They sold me recliner and extended warranty. But when I tried to make a claim they created hoops to jump through witch took me months to do and now they say I took longer than 30 days to do. they want almost 200 dollars for a service call on a extended warranty. The part I need is probably worth less than a dime. I feel robed by this company.La-Z-Boy

We went with La Z Boy because the couch we were given lasted forever. It was a beast! For the money we were going to spend on a new set, we knew we wanted something to last. Unfortunately, that is no longer La Z Boy. We have had 3 repairs to be made on the same parts in a year. Pieces to a recliner we don't even use often. As we sit and wait for our 3rd repair, I have to wonder what has gone wrong. I do know that we had a hard time just getting the set and were told they had switched manufacturers during Covid. Save the money and skip Lazboy. Unless you enjoy having broken furniture and waiting on someone to come fix it. By the way, our couch won't be fixed when they finally do come out next week. They'll have to order the part so we're looking at another month.La-Z-Boy

Our heavy duty recliner cost over $3500 and has needed repair twice because they use cheap plastic parts where there should be steel bolts. This ensures the consumer can not fix it on their own. In addition even if we are willing to pay for service they require payment before the repair person shows up. Something that goes against even the most basic service principles. But even if we ca pay up front we cant get someone on the phone to schedule it. I will be lodging a formal complaint. They deserve a 0 and they should go out of business or at least charge the low price for the low qualityLa-Z-Boy

Would give a zero if possible, bought recliner only one person living in home and it started shedding plastic. Found out that only thing leather is what your body touches. Was not told that when bought it. Will never buy a lazy boy againLa-Z-Boy

If La-Z-Boy sucked any harder, they would create a black hole and drag all of humanity into oblivion. My La-Z-Boy store card was opened four years ago when my wife & purchased numerous items. I have an exceptionally high FICO easily qualifying for the La-Z-Boy store card. But a year after issuing this card and several months AFTER paying it off, La-Z-Boy reduced the cards limit 50% without reason. I shrugged it off. Then today I went to check on and to request the original limit be reinstated because we are nearing completion of a home remodel, and the old furniture doesnt work anymore. Guess what? La-Z-Boy closed the account. No notice givenif I hadnt logged in, I would not have known. Heres the best parttheir reason for this was inactivity. I had the card for 4 years. So basically, La-Z-Boy doesnt expect their overpriced furnishings to last you 5 years and penalize you if you wait 4 years before repurchasing furniture. ***** suppose thats about right cuz I notice my recliner was losing the wood finish several months ago and was not reclining or staying reclined like normal. The sofa is uncomfortable as well. My wife is heading out to replace pretty much all the furniture in the house except for the beds as the new flooring and paint makes the existing furniture all wrong. Guess who WONT be getting our business? Thats rightLazyBlackHole Furniture Galleries! Dont shop hereand definitely dont open a charge account here. The bovine excrement justifications they use to change your card status will harm your FICO and if you are OCD about protecting your credit rating like I amLa-Z-Boys policies will eventually damage your score. Funny thing istwo years ago I was shopping for 8 dining room chairs and they didnt have any black dining chairs! Youd think B&W would always be available. Im more upset with the lack of proper notice than I am anything else, zero communication! La-Z-Boy sets the customer care bar so low you need a backhoe to see it.La-Z-Boy
