      No more LaZboy for us. Purchased 2 recliner rockers for Christmas in 2022. Leather one Has never set correctly. Reclines at will, will not return to upright position. Had 3 separate service calls. Did not fix problem. Last time service tech wanted to take out the original springs and replace with heavy duty springs (I weigh 185 lbs) He could not guarantee a fix. I declined his offer and asked for a replacement chair. 3rd party service called a few days later and after several rounds of conversation, I was told there was no defect, LaZBoy does not guarantee comfort, and I was out of luck. Only recourse was to start the whole process over from scratch with Corporate. Im done. Intentionally bought LZB because of reputation. Never again.Date of experience: January 18, ****

      Poor service on defective furniture. The store salesman knew of problems with the sofa cushions.

      I would give less than one star if I could. I called La-Z-Boy for service. They made me pay $160 for a technician to come out and fix my chair. He came to my home he took pictures of my chair and then he told me to call La-Z-Boy back. When I did, they told me it would cost me another $500 for parts and the technician would have to come back and put the parts in. This is for a chair that is supposed to have warranty for parts.

      Shame on me, I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing our two La-Z-Boy recliners six years ago. I bought my first leather La-Z-Boy recliner in **** and was very satisfied with how it held up, raising my two boys jumping on me while in the chair, to say the least it took a beating and held up very well. We bought two leather La-Z-Boy recliners in 2016 thinking that they were still quality furniture. My mistake. After reading these reviews I see Im not the only one with the same problems Im having. The Leather Like material is coming apart, difficulty getting customer service, and once someone returned my call I was told Im pretty much stuck with an inferior product. My 25 year old recliner was moved into *********** and was in better shape than these 6 year old $3000. recliners. NO MORE La-Z-Boy FURNITURE FOR ME. If I could give less than one star I would.

      We apologize that this has been your experience with your purchase. Particular products are manufactured with a combination of leather and vinyl, in order to provide a quality product at a lower cost than what an item upholstered with 100% leather would be. The leather portion of the product is placed in areas that a person would normally touch when utilizing the furniture (back, seat, arms, etc.). Vinyl is placed in areas that are not normally touched (back panels, side panels, between cushions, etc.). The manufacturer can only guarantee the performance of the product for a length of one year, considering the environment that all products are placed into, and the manner in which it is used cannot be controlled.

      I purchased a sectional from La-Z- boy and it was delivered broke. The delivery people called customer service and told them to send someone out to fix it. The guy came brought a hammer bent the connectors and said the other chair had to be replaced because they used old and new frames. Well that was delivered in September and now it is ******* and my sofa is still not fixed. They will not call you back at all. I would not recommend La-Z-boy to any one.

      As of the day this review was submitted, the customer was advised that 2 units of the ******* sectional configuration will be replaced, in order to resolve the concern of the older design units not connecting perfectly with the newly designed units. The two armless recliner items in question are currently in production and will be exchanged through home delivery service once they are available at our Atlanta distribution center.

      We bought 2 electric La-Z-Boy chairs. We spent $8,000. We had to put 1/2 as a deposit. We waited over 6 months to receive them. We were informed they would not be delivered until we paid the other 1/2. They would not deliver until we paid them first. A few months later, the headrest on one of the leather chairs split open. Cheap, inferior leather was used. When we purchased them, we were informed they had a warranty. When we reported the poor quality issue with pictures, suddenly we no longer have a warranty. Costly purchase for poor quality furniture. DO NOT BUY from La-Z-Boy.

      Purchased a $2000+ recliner for our 88 year old mother in December 2023. At time of delivery, a product manufacturing defect was noticed and noted by the delivery driver, who himself took a photo of the problem, indicated customer service would be in touch, but did not take the chair back to the warehouse despite her request to do so. A CS rep responded via email indication they would repair the product. A conversation with the sales rep ********** that she would not initiate a refund because she'd lose her commission $. A subsequent conversation with a manager resulted in an agreement to retrieve the chair for a refund. Unfortunately, the return policy does not cover delivery charges. So, in the end; LaZBoy delivers a defective product and charges customers some $200 in delivery fees.That's a scam. We will never deal with LaZBoy ever again, and suggest other consumers consider the same.

      This is my one and only experience with Lazy Boy. Our sales experience was great, and **** was very knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately after the sale and delivery was complete, that is when the nightmare of customer service began. Less than 4 hours in our home our brand new recliner stopped working and was stuck in the open position. Which I am not even upset about. I get it, things happen. BUT when we called customer service absolutely NO one was willing to help us. I was asked if I purchased the extended warranty which I did but as was an infuriating question sine I owned it for hours. It took 2 weeks to have a service person come out to tell us it was broken and they need to order all new parts and it would take another few weeks. After several calls and emails and more calls, absolutely no one was willing to even expedite a part or express any care or concern for our issues. Once you purchase a product and pay hundreds extra for a warranty, you are still on your own in the mess!! We even emailed corporate with zero response. Then we went back to the *************** where we purchased it, and spoke to the manager ***. Who also in true lazy boy customer fashion did NOTHING! After asking him to at least make a call he agreed and said he would call us with an update. We then texted and called to follow up and he has not responded.My word to the wise-- do NOT purchase from the ********* ** location as I have learned in this terrible process this location is a franchise location and all thought we purchased a Lazy boy quality product you do not get the same **************** you will be sent to all 3rd party companies. Buyer be ware and please do your research and ask the questions we didn't.

      Bought a powered lazy boy chair and even within the warranty period Im being charged $170 for a service call and $13 per part service fee, complete BS warranty and I called for 4 days straight and could not get through to anyone so I had to drive an hour to their store in Whitehall, **. I was told at the store everything was covered, another lie!
