    We contacted Global Electronics on October 14, 2024, to send a motor back for repair. As of December 30, 2024, the motor has still not been repaired, and the experience with this company has been nothing short of unacceptable.Details of the Complaint:1.Lack of Communication: From the start, communication from Global Electronics has been minimal to nonexistent. We have had to initiate contact numerous times to get updates on the status of the motor.2.Unacceptable Admission of Negligence: When we were finally able to speak with a representative named *****, we were informed that the company had forgotten about the motor entirely. This is an inexcusable level of oversight for a business that should prioritize customer service and *********************** Without Resolution: Despite assurances that parts had been ordered for the motor, we were recently told that the motor is now not testing or functioning properly. This implies either a failure to properly diagnose and repair the issue or further negligence in handling the repair process.4.Impact on Our Business: This delay has caused significant disruption to our operations. Our customer has been waiting for this motor for months and is understandably frustrated. This frustration is now being directed toward us, harming our reputation and damaging a customer relationship that we have worked hard to maintain.Our Expectations:We find Global Electronics business practices, including the lack of accountability, communication, and urgency, to be highly unprofessional. We are beyond dissatisfied with this experience and demand immediate resolution.Action Needed: We requested that the motor be repaired and/or returned to us numerous times and have been ignored.This experience has been unacceptable, and we urge Global Electronics to take swift action to resolve this matter and prevent similar issues in the future.

    We did receive a ************** from ** Mechanical on 10/24/24 to be repaired.  The motor was quoted to the customer and approval was received to begin the repair.  The motor was found to have multiple problems and a parts order was generated form the technician on 10/29/24, because of the damage the parts cost exceeded the repair cost so the motor was put on a customer hold in our system until we could reach the customer to let them decide if they wanted to increase the repair cost.  We reached the customer and worked out the increase approval on 11/11/24.  The parts that were needed for the repair were ordered and scheduled to come in on 12/6/24, once the parts arrived the technician found that additional parts were needed and ordered on 12/10/24.  When the parts arrived on 12/20/24 the technician was not able to get the motor to test and function properly leaving us no other option than to deem the motor as unrepairable.  The customer was notified and the motor was sent back to the customer on 12/30/24 (tracking does confirm that it was received on 1/3/25).  There was never a charge to the customer, therefor no refund was required.  It is unfortunate that this motor was determined to be unrepairable, however everything that is sent in for repair is not always repairable.  Sometimes we have to order parts and fix a section of a unit before it can be determined what else is wrong. Because we fully test each repaired item before shipping it back we were able to determine that this motor was not functioning as it should.  Global didn't charge the customer for anything so we are out the cost of parts and labor on this motor, we wish the outcome would have been favorable and that we could have sent the customer back a repaired unit along with an invoice but every item in need of repair is not always favorable. We would be happy to assist in quoting a replacement motor if that would be helpful!

    I sent a motor to Global elect in January and its now 5/1/24 and they wont give it back or answer any calls or e-mails from me.Horrible company to deal with , constant lying i also sent a hurco motor and a sevo unit to them twice and they said they fixed them and charged me $3400 and come to find out they did nothing to them so i bought new servo and motor and machine runs fine now, and still have no refund my next step is court.stay away from these people

    On 8/4/2023, I requested a repair service from GES, who has a minimum 3-hour policy for technicians on-site visit. The technician arrived and spent about 30 minutes assessing the issue, deeming it an easy fix. I paid $745.00 for this visit and he took parts from the machine, suggesting it might need capacitors, which they supposedly had in-house. When asked about the timeframe, he assured me it wouldn't take long. However, GES sent three invoices for various parts they claim were needed and kept saying that the delay in the repair was due to part orders. Parts were for Upon several more calls, the shop told me part is repaired. Nearly a month later, on 9/12, the technician returned to reinstall the supposedly "repaired and checked" parts but failed to make the machine work. Despite spending 5 hours and 33 minutes on it, he couldn't resolve the issue and left at the end of his shift, repeatedly claiming he was still trying to figure it out. *** then invoiced $977 for his time.I had to seek assistance from another vendor, who discovered that parts were replaced by ***. Furthermore, they identified a completely different issue, which they promptly fixed for less than the cost of GES's proposed repairs. Additionally, they told me that even if I had purchased a new control board, it does not cost more than $600. For this GES has billed total $2500!! I lost a project worth several thousands due to this delay by ***.. To add to the frustration, GES has been calling repeatedly using pseudonyms in their payment requests. This isn't the first time I've had issues with GES; a similar incident occurred in July 2021 when their supposed repair caused a fire. Instead of resolving the issue, they are threatening by having a collection agency. Many others who have filed complains with BBB against GES have shared similar experience.

    I sent two electronic circuit boards into this company as they advertise they repair them. Also spoke to a representative on the phone and they confirmed that they do repair. These items sent them to them charged me $390 to do work to these boards received them back still broken With no obvious work done to them and they were still confirmed to be broken called said they would warranty them sent them back have been gone for over a month and a half and have been getting horrible runaround. Every time I call every few days they just have excuses on whats going on or why theyre broken . They told me that they were unrepairable and were going to replace the circuit boards with new ones waited a month then was told that they never said that or or and cannot locate new circuit boards and they were going to repair my current circuit boards. Then now they tell me after two more weeks that they are not going to repair them so I expressed that I want them sent back to me immediately and want to refund and now just keep getting the runaround again About they wont send them back and that I have not gotten a credit for for the work that was never done and they told me its going to take up to 45 days to determine what to do about it have spoke with multiple people within the company, including managers and assistant managers, and no one can give me any resolution

    In the middle of November 2023 I sent a mother board from an Onan 4000 generator to Global Electronic because they said they could analyze it, repair it and send it back in operating condition.Decenmber 5th 2023, Global Electronics contacted me and told me the board was ready and the cost $232.96.When the board was returned to me, the board did not work. I contacted the company, asked to speak with a technician. The tech advised me that the only thing they did was check exterior plug. They did not check the diodes because they don't melt the epoxy covering that encompasses the mother board. For the past 3 weeks I have been in contact with ******************* at Global ************ for a refund. It has not happened as of yet.

    Contacted this company by phone 2/22/23 to inquire about them repairing a critical circuit board for **. We made it clear we would be willing to pay an express charge to get it done on an overnight basis, we they promised to do without upcharge.We obtained a RMA/repair order from them and express shipped that part that day. After numerous call and emails, the part was returned to ** 3/6/23. The repair had NOT been completed-the same clearly damaged component was simply resoldered to the board., Nor was the board tested as this would have revealed the defect.We informed the company in writing and the suggested sending it back to them for "warranty" evaluation. We refused as it is a critical piece of infrastructure. We instead bypassed the damaged function and reinstalled in to run our equipment.The did not respond further until this week by threatening collections action. Best of luck to them

It was returned to me within 5 days and my credit card was charged. We tested the plc card and found that it was not repaired. I contacted GES about a refund and they stated the plc card had to be returned for a warranty evaluation. I waited two weeks and contacted them about the status of the refund. They asked for a few more days. I contacted them again the following week and demanded a refund and the return of my plc card. I clearly stated that I no longer wanted them to attempt a repair. They responded to each of my emails with a "canned" response stating my unit was being repaired and a status should be available soon. Today, 2/16/2023, two months after my credit card was charged, I contacted ******** and disputed the charge. I want my plc card returned to me as I believe it can still be repaired or serve as a valuable core credit to purchase a replacement.
