Requested a new card and paid $20 for expedited shippingits been 4 days now and after calling customer service they still have not shipped my card. They told me to call back tomorrow night to see if they have a tracking number. Worst experience ever. FYI JUST HAVE YOUR CHILD SUPPORT DEPOSITED INTO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT INSTEAD.SMI Card Services, LLC

The worse bank don't trust they say the protect you from fraud but it a lie, they protect the money from you. My card was post as stolen and I didn't I been report it stolen then they act like I'm not the owner of my bank really introspect full I been 2 week with out a cardSMI Card Services, LLC

Smione is such a horrible card! First off, you are going to get your payment days after they receive even though other card services who use ************ will release their funds the day they are sent. Smione takes days and for me, thats a Friday (even though it was Thursday morning when I used Chime who also uses Bancorp). However, if the Friday happens to be a holiday, Smione will hold the funds until Monday even though they already have the funds! Then, once the funds finally become available, they will decline all of your transactions. This is by far the worst bank service I have ever used. Being a single parent and to have a service that holds funds for as long as possible in order to make money off of them is ridiculous and the ********************* should use another service and I have contacted my representatives regarding this matter. I suggest you all should as well!SMI Card Services, LLC

1 starThese have to be the most uninformed people Ive ever dealt with. Been using this card service 10 plus years, never had a problem until trying to create an online account simply because I got a new phone needed to transfer everything over February 26th -27th 2025 which I was unable to do the error message said my information didnt match called customer informed them of the situation they updated my number but they failed to tell me if I didnt continue with the online account it would locked my card Is this not all one system so customer service updates my info I no longer need your online service the next morning my card is blocked here it is june *************************************** which Im unable to get a physical copy of sent in selfie of me holding my phone which you could clearly see my driver license and myself they didnt accept it today I sent in the 2 more documents I was told would be acceptable birth certificate and social security card received and emailed said contact them called representative said social wasnt accepted because it wasnt sign thank God we arent back in April when I wasnt able to sign anything from broken bones due to an accident anyway yall now have 3 documents rather the license are screen shot you have it along with my birth certificate and social security not to mention selfies Ive had to verify almost every account I own including federal accounts which have been simple this prepaid card is the worst I wouldnt recommend it to anyone that actually depends solely on these benefits theyll have you evicted and hungryReview fromDaniel W

I remarried and changed my last name. I also chose to drop my first name as I have never used it and always gone by my middle. I just celebrated by 11-year wedding anniversary. My Texas DL, all bank accounts, my passport, the Office of the Atty ******** the State Disbursement Unit, my social all reflects the correct name except smiOne. I've been trying to change it for two years. Every time I call they want something different from me. It is not fair there are no other options for recipients of child support. I have been ACTIVELY calling for 2 years and now spend 4 hours today on it again with no resolution but asking me to send more items and with total attitude and zero empathy despite all the notes going back for forever showing I have sent in everything requested.SMI Card Services, LLC

Congratulations on your recent wedding anniversary! We hope you will accept our apology for casting a shadow over your special day with the difficulty youve faced updating the name on file. We believe we discovered the root issue and reached out to you directly to offer further assistance.
We first heard from you regarding this unique situation on September 25, 2022. At that time, the ************************** had not yet received the necessary supporting documentation to update your full name. For this reason, we requested two forms of ID to facilitate your request to change the first and last name on file. We did not hear back from you regarding this matter until 2024. On June 18, 2024, and September 9, 2024, we received documentation from you via email; however, due to the nature of your request, we were unable to update your card account profile until the update had been made with the ******** your request, we began reaching out to them again in February 2025.Unfortunately, the information on file remained unchanged. On April 11, 2025,you reported your information had been successfully updated with the Office of Attorney General and the State Disbursement Unit. After some initial delay with the update taking effect in the system, we were able to confirm with the State Disbursement Unit that your name had been successfully updated. At that time,we were able to update your full name as well and issued a new card to reflect the change. We expect your new smiONE card to arrive between April 22, 2025,and April 25, 2025.

The worst card I have ever used. When they sent the card and told me to create my account online before receiving it, I did just that and they ended up claiming my phone # didn't match the phone # on my child support account. So I told the lady on the phone and she said that the phone # I entered is the right one, so my card ended up locking and they told me I had to contact them back in 3 business days because it takes the fraud team 3 days to even review it, so I sent them the things they needed but the photo was a little blurry of my drivers license and they made me resend it but told me I had to wait 3 more days because fraud department don't do reviews until 3 days after you email them. So they had my whole child support deposited on the card but I couldn't use it until they fix their mess up. They say it takes 1 to 2 business days to deposit but I never received my deposit this past Friday so I have to wait the whole weekend now because I guess they don't deposit on Fridays either. Just another bank to tell you, you're not allowed to your money unless we say you are. Sh*77y card like crazy. Switch to pay-pal or your local bank. They should cancel this business for sure.SMI Card Services, LLC

If I could give less than one I would, I sent in multiple documents proving who I was. because my card I sent in was on the corner even though signed name and number was visible this company decides to keep my card locked. Another 1-2 business days. This was locked because I chose to deposit my income tax onto my child support card. I had not updated my married name on my child support card. Someone is stealing money but it is not the people they are locking cards on. I wonder how many people they have locked cards on who had bills due the next day?SMI Card Services, LLC

I have had to most horrible experience the last two weeks with this card. I had money deposited from **** to repair my home. Not only have I had to call numerous times to have my card unlocked . Because they continued to lock my card due to my multiple transactions. How embarrassing and humiliating it has been to have my card declined so many times . But the worst part is I used my card to pay my light bill through Energy Texas and Spectrum with well over $3000 in my account. Only to now find out I have a disconnect notice on both my bills bcs why? They rejected my payments and I thought my bills were paid in full! Wrong I had no idea till now they werent even paid. Well to my surprise my account was closed without my knowledge as when speaking to an agent, I was advised of a security breach and an email was sent. I didn't receive an email that there had been a security breach and my account had been closed. I inadvertently attempted to use my SmiOne debit card and it declined, I contacted said entity and was advised. In the future maybe there should be an alert that can alert to contact the company in the future notifying a person.SMI Card Services, LLC
