The company practices deliberate and deceptive business activities by charging clients for services that never delivered or intended to deliver. The company manages my house and they were supposed to conduct regular in person inspection to ensure the tenants were not destroying the property.
    1) They have zero inspection in three years. The tenants broke stuff, repainted the bedrooms without authorization and paint got all over the brand new carpet
    2) The tenants failed to pay rent for over five months and when the company finally got around to file an eviction, they missed the court date which allowed the tenant to stay a whole month in the house without paying
    3) When they finally evicted the tenants, they charged me thousands of dollars for repair and services that have never been done.

Kennon & Parker Property Management managed Mr. *****-****s property from 2021 to 2024.  During that period of time, a lease was signed in July of 2021.  Prior to the tenant's move in, a move in inspection was completed on July 13, 2021 that documented pre-existing property conditions.  During the tenant's lease, an annual inspection was completed on May 24, 2022 and then again on May 30, 2023.  The May 30, 2023 inspection was emailed to Mr. ********* on May 30, 2023.  The tenant's last payment was made in February of 2024.  It was applied to January 2024 rent.  A dispossessory was filed on the tenant on ***** *** ****.  The tenant was evicted on **** ** *****  Charges were assessed against the tenant for rent owed and damages, and the amount owed has been submitted to a collection company. A court date was initially missed in April.  When that happened, Mr. ********* was contacted and made aware.  At the time, he was understanding of the situation.  Mr. ********* was offered a discount in management services once the house was rented again. After a period of time passed and the house had not been rented, Mr. ********* chose to go with a different management company.  A detailed email was sent to Mr. ********* that explained the amount the tenant owed as well as the money that was spent on his property for repair and services. We appreciate the opportunity that was provided to us to manage the property, and we regret that the tenant lease ended in the way that it did.  We would welcome the opportunity to work with Mr. ********* again in the future should our services be needed.

Not sure what was discussed, I was awaiting closing and I saw the property being on the market for sale. The sellers kept my earnest money even though I didn't back out of the agreement. Wasn't kept up to date about anything

    Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/15) */
    **********************************************************************************************
Complainant was not, even after contract extensions were made for her, able to obtain financing nor did she get a denial letter from a loan company. All financing and due diligence contingency periods had expired and agent got no response from her when asked to sign contract termination.
Contract is clear that buyer forfeits earnest money if sale doesn't take place because of buyer default.
Per Real Estate law, this letter was sent to her stating that she was in default and earnest money would be sent to Seller after 10 days if we had no response.
We still have the deposit. We, per law and contract , can elect to go ahead and pay to seller or hold it and let the buyer go to court and interplead for it.

    Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/08/16) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
There were not any documents that I received that wasn't signed in the same day. They need to talk to their realtor that was handling my purchase. There were no attempts made to contact me to sign any documents that were left unsigned, by email nor phone. I have gotten a letter stating my earnest money was distributed to the seller. In which I'm not sure as to why. There are a lot of details missing from the realtor and loan officer in which I haven't heard from since June. I didn't forfeit on anything, why would I do that and allow my family to continue to be homeless? Doesn't sound quite right nor makes sense.
