Bought an Allstate protection plan from **********. My Maytag dishwasher from ********** quit one day, no power. Made a claim, ******** must have a contract with Vehtech. I received emails stating that I needed to call them to schedule service and I did. So far as of today, and it's only Tuesday, they moved my appointment 3 times without notifying me whatsoever. Very unprofessional. They called and wanted to change it again and I said no. I do have things to do. I can't sit and wait for someone that's not going to show up. ******** really needs to get rid of poorly managed companies such as this one. Don't buy the Allstate protection plan, you'll just waste money and get no service. I may post this same review in the ******** page since they hired this terrible company.

I had to file a claim on 12/24/2022 as my filter was leaking. I have called this company as many times as 30 as of 12/26/22, you can never speak with a supervisor. Today 2/1/23 they tell me parts have been delivered no they have not. I received this protection through Lowes on *********** in ********* "LOWES PROTECTION PLUS" all I can say is that they are protecting themselves from spending money on repairs where customers spend $2,000.00 on a Whirlpool frig. All I can say is stay far away from Lowes and their protection plan... I will never ever buy from Lowes again.

********** / AllState Protection plan contracted with this company to come and repair an icemaker. The technician moved fridge out and opened the doors against the counter. Pushing on door trying to remove shelves, he dented both doors on a $2600 1 year old refrigerator. After 2 hours of trying to fix, and hearing him say he didn't know what he was doing, then having his 16 year old helper go to car to call for instructions, I questioned if he knew what he was doing and if he should stop. He got defensive, said that I "asked" him to leave. Packed up his tools and left. My conversations with VehTech were civil, but they seemed more interested in letting me know the "tech" was over 20 years experience. That *** be, but he told me he was "unfamiliar" with my particular model. Allstate has informed me they are avoiding them and will not return their calls. From the other reviews here, this seems to be a pattern. Do NOT let VehTech into your home to fix anything. There is a good chance they will break more than they will fix and they will NOT stand behind their work.

I had a problem with my washer and I call my Home Residential Warranty which I have warranty on the washer. They sent Vehtech out to do the repairs but in the process the tech moved the dryer in order to do the repair and did damage the control panel on the dryer and damage the untility doors to the wash room. I have reach out to Vehtech and Home Residential Warranty they could do nothing but offer me $65.00 that did cover the price on getting my doors fix nor fix the dryer panel. I am so disappointed in and hurt I put my trust in these companies to do right by me I pay my warranty payment each month Home Residential Warranty and this is the result I get.

Vehtechnology has been in constant contact with ***************** since the incident happened and advised that we would send a second technician out to review and take pictures of any damages reported. We sent a second technician to review the unit and these are his findings please see the notes below:I called Saturday and got **************, she told me she was not available and she would call VEHTECH to reschedule. I explained she could reschedule with me since I would be coming out to access what took place. She told me that I tore up her washer and dryer and the doors. I explained I was not the one who had come out prior visit. She apologized and said she would call me one day next week to schedule an appointment.I received a call from ************** she will be available tomorrow Monday between 2p to 4p.So I arrived to the site and ************** showed me where the previous tech had taken down the doors to work on the washer and stated he tore up the doors and her dryer. I did not see any evidence that the tech tore up her doors. He might have not put them up correctly but he did not tear up her doors. The doors are three years old and the material the door is made of, over a period of time will wear down. The hole the door pegs goes in at the top part of the door has been worn to the point the peg no longer sits sterdy in the hole, causing the door to be slightly uneven. I don't believe that the tech wore that hole open to the point it is by taking the door down one time. That had to come from the doors being opened and closed due to normal use over a long period of time. I re-adjusted the doors they aren't perfectly even but the customer stated it was a lot better and it is. They are up correctly. The customer however did make the comment that she wasn't expecting me to fix it but for the doors to be replaced. I recommended that she have some longer and bigger pegs install in the door to help hold it more steady or just change her doors all together. The doors made of a weak and thin material which over the 3 year period the hole just wore out. The dryer, the left side of the panel console has broken plastic which is causing the panel console to be a little wobbly. I am not sure how the tech did that either when he was installing suspension rods on the washer. He did no repairs on the dryer, so I would surmise that the control panel was or had been damaged before he arrived on site. All I can gather is that the console has broken plastic which would need to be replaced.

Additionally, the dryer that ***************** is stating that our technician damaged is an older unit, so old that the unit is no longer sold in retail stores however, we researched the part to replace the part on the unit and it was priced at $65.00 years ago and is no longer available. We reached out to ***************** and advised her of our findings. She agreed to take the $65.00 as compensation and has since then cashed the check made out to her. We are actually surprised to see this complaint filed against Vehtechnology as we did all we could to rectify this situation. It was deemed via the pictures and documentation that we were not negligent in handling ********************* units and the damages were not done by our technician.
