    PureTalk falsely advertises international roaming coverage in ***************. I purchased PureTalk primarily based on the promise of being able to use their service during trips to ***************. Once there, network service was not working. I contacted PureTalk technical support and after wasting half an hour of time changing phone settings, I was informed that PureTalk doesn't provide service in *************** even though it is advertised on their website. I also prepaid $10 for international roaming charges based on PureTalk's false advertising.

    I am rejecting this response because: it is the same standard response I received by email the first time I contacted PureTalk about not having service in ***************. I tried their suggestions, then talked to PureTalk support. After several attempts and transfer to technical support, PureTalk technical support told me that PureTalk doesnt have coverage in ***************. Therefore, PureTalk needs to correct its advertising about coverage in ***************. I was misled by PureTalks false advertising of having coverage in ****************

    October of 2020. i tried using pure talk as my cell provider. They sent me a phone. after 4-5days they couldn't transfer old phone to new one. I said send me shipping package and I'll send phone back. they did. i sent phone back. never heard from them until jan of 24. i was thinking about getting newer car. went to bank they pulled up credit report. here was $384.00 billon there. i called collection agency they didn't know why. i had heart problems 1st of feb24. so i called them 11-24-24to find out it took them 8 business days2 tickets to tell me i sent back a scratched ******** i thought i was paying $384. 12-6-24 they took out $409.17. charge me $25.17 to ship phone which wasn't even the original one. they didn't even send a charger with it. This company is worthles and after seeing all the complaints. They shouldn't even be ibn business

    Upon inspection, the device was found to have damage near the camera and was protected by a passcode. According to our return policy, devices must be returned in like-new condition, free of any physical damage, and without any security locks or passcodes enabled.

    As your return did not meet these criteria, we could not process a refund and had to charge the remaining balance of $409.14. A copy of your original sales agreement outlining these terms was sent to your email address at the time of purchase.

    On 11/1/24 I signed up with Pure Talk Cellular and purchased, what I was led to believe was an IPhone 15. I was told the price was just over $500 for the phone. I paid 629 for the phone and prepayment of the service. When I received the phone, I bought a cover for it. The function keys wouldnt work. I took the phone to Best Buy and tried one of their covers. Same thing. The sales associate check in my phone and said it was an I Phone 12. I got home and called ***. I told them that is not the phone I had ordered. They didnt seem like they were going to do anything. I asked to talk with a representative. The representatives would not talk to me. They told ****** that I would have to close out my account and open a new one. It was not my mistake. They did tell me I could send the phone back, which I did and I changed all but one line to another service. They sent the phone back with a sticky note on it stating that it had a scratch on the front and back. I never noticed anything when I sent it in or when I received it back. My husband took it under a very bright light and noticed two very small scratches on it. It was an open box phone. Since I didnt see anything doesnt mean they werent there when I got it. I called them today 12/9, and told them I had been billed. 529 for what I thought was an I Phone 15. I would never have agreed to that high of a price for a phone that was 1 model newer than my current phone. I have check on line different places, they are worth 200 to 250. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

    iPhone SE 3rd generation purchased new from Pure Talk by ***** and ******* ******** on 11/10/2024.Amount paid - $538.56 Pure Talk offered a full refund if phone is returned in original packaging and in new condition within 14 days. Phone was returned to Pure Talk within time specified and new condition and in original packaging as can be seen in the submitted photos taken at time of shipping. Phone was returned to us on 12/03/2024 with a simple, unprofessional handwritten note stating that there are many scratches on device. Thats the only documentation that came with return of the phone. Note that phone was returned to us completely unprotected and was now damaged.We contacted Pure Talk and they informed us that they wont provide a refund based upon an evaluation by a third-party company named ******. (Photos submitted now show scratches on the phone that were not there when we shipped it to them.)Pure Talk also informed us that they will provide no documentation concerning this transaction and said that wed have to contact Phobio. Attempts to contact Phobio were unsuccessful as the phone number provided by Pure Talk was incorrect.     I ordered service with Pure talk on 10/6/24 due to problem after problem just getting phones setup and just so many issues, I cancelled service on 10/9/24. On 10/8/24& 10/9/24 a total of 4 refunds were started and on 10/16/24 I received 2 refunds for $40.72 a piece.I have called several times to check on the 2 refunds that Im still waiting on that are $40.85 a piece for a total of $81.70 and I just get told its pending and it has been since 10/11/24. I have been told it would be expedited 2 times and I would received an email and I never get an email. Ive contacted the bank and they said they show no refunds pending and its on Pure Talks end. So it has been 20 days/14 business days since these refunds were supposed to be initiated and I was told it would be 3-5 business days for the refunds to appear back on my card. I just want my money back from this company.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    Thats not what Im told when I call. I called today on 11/13/2024 and I gave an order number of ******* that was given to me on 11/7/24 and on that phone call from 11/7/24 I was told it was approved on 11/4/24 even though it was first initiated on 10/9/24 and it was expedited and it would be 3-5 business and of course nothing has been refunded, so the call today I requested it be expedited again per conversation on 11/4/24 when the customer service agent told me to request it if its not there, I was told today it would be expedited and someone from refund department would contact me and like usual nobody has. Ive asked to to speak to 2 supervisors in past conversations and was told they would call me and like usual I hear nothing. I dont accept that there is an issue with the refunds, just the simple fact I was issued 2 out of the 4 refunds that was due to me. I want my money back that totals $80.71 or $40.85 & $40.85 and this is going on since October 9th,2024. There is no excuse or reason why it should take this long to refund $80.71.

    Brother in law ***** **** (i am listed on his pure talk account) ordered a phone and pure talk said it was delivered 9/9/2024 by ****** The address pure talk said they delivered to was ********************************* which was my address up til 7/31/2024 when i sold house. Not sure why they used that address. I called the people who purchased my house and they did not recieve anything and it was suppose to be signed for. This is a guard gated community so no one can just show up and wait for a delivery. I got the ***** tracking number from Pure Talk ************. I call ***** and they told me that it was delivered but not to **************** i asked if it was delivered to My brother in laws new address since February which is ****************************** and they said no it was not delivered to either of these addresses I asked where but they told me that the sender is the only one that can call and find out. I have been on the phone 7x with Pure Talk trying to get them to call ***** everytime I call the customer service person puts me on hold to call a supervisor which gets us no where and they have to send a email in hopes that the whse will try to track this phone down. My bother in law has not had a phone in 2 months and lives just on social security so spending more $ on a phone is not an option. If ***** delivered it to the wrong address then they should be liable for the $ of the phone but I can not get Pure Talk to call them to find out what happened

    I signed up with Puretalk with the intention of getting one year free of the daily wire. I followed the Daily Wire instructions - Go to **********************************************************************, select qualified plan (which I did - Full unlimited) and mention his name at check out (Using the dropped down). I couple of days later, I inquired about the daily wire code and was told once my account fulling activated, I would get it in 48 hours. I never got it, they are claiming I put a different code. I actually didn't enter any promo code, I just followed the directions above and a promo code was auto put. In my mind, the correct code as a "code" was never offered from the Daily Wire to be entered. I want my one year free daily wire as promoted on the Daily Wire. I again, went through the same steps thinking I missed something, when putting in ********************************************************************** a promo code is auto filled leading people to believe the correct one is being applied.

    I opened up a Puretalk account a d everything was going well untill I was told I can mail a check for payment. I realized that after a money my check was never posted to my account. I called and inquired about what was going on. I was told they have to research on this matter and get back to me. It took weeks but I was told they couldn't find my check and they need information directly from my bank via email. My bank sent the information they requested via email. Pure Talk stated that they didn't receive. This would end up being the same circle for month. Pure Talk representative lie , steal and give misleading information. They make promises they can't keep and I was even told on multiple occasions they cannot let me speak to a manager or well this the situation. No I'm have no service and a special needs child who need to reach me. The situation is still not resolved and they are shake me down for more money. Buyers Beware. I'm very sad for all of the celebrities and bloggers that support this company they do not live up to the hype.

    I switched 3 lines from *** to Pure Talk. Pure Talk issued the wrong line to the wrong phone. I spent over 3 hours on the phone trying to resolve the issue. Pure Talk informed me that they were wrapping up for the night and I would have to try again in the morning. No one at Pure Talk had any clue how to fix their error and never acted with urgency to resolve it. Worst buying experience I ever had. I switched my phone back to *** and called Pure Talk to explain what happen, the supervisor was uninterested and hung up on me.

    Puretalk is a scam. Puretalk signs you up but wont finish the setup on the first call. You cannot call back as Puretalk threatens you with Charges on your bill if you call them via a phone number. you must call from your phone which will not be answered. This has put me in a position of not having use of my expensive apple watch; while at the same time, continuing to be charged by AT&T...because Puretalk didnt or wont or cant finish the job of tranferring/seting the account up. If you call the phone number to reach Puretalk they hang up,on you upon finding out the already suckred your money from you. This is a scam. Puretalk owner should be seeing these complaints personally. Your behavior is despicable. I imagine there are consumer laws violated here. To date I've been scammed out of hundreds of dollars by Puretalk failures. You should be a decent human being if you are capable and call me directly.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    This response by Puretalk is  disingenuous.  ...and a total fake out.  Wasted more of my time as I called per their response and they disconnected me as they supposedly connected me to the person that left me a message.  Pathetic and disrespectful behavior by Puretalk.  As I previously stated Puretalk is a scam...and not changing their ways because of my tiny ineffective BBB complaint.
