    Today I was informed Burgess and ******************* was refusing service to my address. Although my neighbors in our subdivision utilize their services, based on my recommendations. I was given no explanation other than, they have a right to refuse anyone services. I offered to pay the small outstanding balance (approximately $23.00), they refused to accept it. I was left very confused and disturbed, as I've always been a good customer. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone, ever again! Please look else where for your garbage removal services.

    This is the most unprofessional business Ive dealt with in my life. They would come into the townhome community I lived in, pick up everybody elses trash that was in their Burgess can, except mine. I have everything recorded though the company could care less. They would say to sit extra out next week and theyll pick it up.meaning they would actually do their job next week. This happened TEN times in the last year, all recorded. The last time was two weeks ago and I had to walk outside at 5 in the morning and tell them to turnaround and pick my trash up..the driver asked where my can was two minutes ago..RIGHT THERE! The lady on the phone then defends everything the staff does.Upon me listing my townhome, I called today to ask when the bin would be picked up and explained theres an HOA in place so I just wanted to know how to handle things. They said it could be one week or three months. The lady on the phone this time, younger than the normal one, cut me off several times and then proceeded to tell me not to get smart with her. To be clear, I never got smart but respect is a two way street and starting the conversation by cutting me off is rude. She then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back and asked why she hung up on me and she said because I (the caller) was finished.I cannot believe they are allowed to operate in this way..there is no integrity and they refuse to do their actual job.

    The service has gone completely downhill. Over 30 years with them. This past year has been worse than awful. Have called multiple times and have multiple warnings to give them an opportunity to make the wrings right. Can't speak with a supervisor nor owner even going in to the office. They won't issue a refund even when they held the prepayment for two days and only processed the date I went to the office. Very unprofessional office staff. The fact that they tell me "we don't give refunds". They expect to keep money for a service they are not providing.

    ************************** deserves 0 (zero) stars, but had to rate them in order to post. Today (6/13/2023), I called Burgess customer service due to my trash not being picked up, and experienced the worst customer service that I've ever dealt with in my life. They basically told me that I had to wait until next Monday for pickup because my trash was not outside when they arrived, which is not true, and I tried to explain this to customer service person, but she could care less. I set my trash outside before sundown around 830pm on Sunday, for pickup on Monday. However, my trashed was not picked up. It's like they skipped right over us. According to Burgess, the driver took a picture of my home to show there was no trash. I have yet to receive this picture that was supposedly emailed to me 3 times. It was a bogus picture, this is why have not received it yet. Once i receive this "so called" picture, it better be date stamped. A supervisor named ***** was suppose to email it to me, but I haven't received it yet. It is after 4PM, I called and requested the picture early this morning around 9AM, and called back a second time around 3:20 PM, but still have not received anything. It made me so angry because it was like they were making up a false story to keep from resolving the issue, and sending someone out to pickup my trash. By the end of the call, I requested my that my account be cancelled. Then, I asked would I be refunded for the services that was prepaid, and the lady, I believe her name was ******, said no, there will be no refund. At that point, I was really upset and just hung up because it was not worth the stress.When people/businesses treat you like this, they don't deserve your business. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I'm going to tell my neighbors about my experience and hopefully my entire subdivision will go with a different service provider. SMH

    Horrible experience truck driver got in my face yelling and cursing. I tried to speak with manager I told her I have it on camera and also that our phone call was being recorded. She told me that this driver usually gets out of hand. But because its a family business he is not going anywhere. I never experienced this before horrible morning.

    Awful Company! I have been a customer of theirs for several years. They left trash in my yard this past week and when I called to complain they basically told me I had too much trash and they don't care if I leave their service because they are growing every day. When I asked for a manager they said they didn't have one in the office and refused to give me the name of the manager because and I quote. "People like to slander us on ********** Well, If you treat your customers better they wouldn't have a reason to slander you.
