    I have to say upfront that I am a little off kilter as my husband passed away and I am not yet thinking clearly. However, I have no recollection of giving my banking information to this site. I do remember visiting the site, thinking how I wish I were disciplined enough to do it, but I knew I wasn't so I didn't sign up. The monthly deduction was $94.85, and i am pretty sure that I visited the site way prior to March 10th which was the earliest I could see in my banking history. State Employees ************ doesn't allow going back more than 120 days to look at our history. Even though I feel in my heart that more was taken out than I have listed, I right now have no way to prove it. Thanks for ANY help!

    ON JUNE 1, 2025 RECEIVED A FREE TRIAL FOR $1.00 , THE BANK ASKED ME WAS I FAMILIAR WITHT THE TRANSACTION I SAID YES. THEY APPROVED THE TRANSACTION AND THEN THEY TRIED TO CHARGE MY CARD $39.99 LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES LATER . I IMMEDIATELY CANCELLED THE TRIAL ,MEMBERSHIP TOOK 3 SCREEN SHOTS OF CANCELLATION AND DELETED MY PROFILE. THEY ARE DOING LOW AMOUNT WAIVERS FOR CUSTOMER TO APPROVE WITH TRIAL AND THEN FRADUALENTLY CHARGING CARDS FOR UNAUTHORIZED AMOUNTS AND AGREEMENTS. I WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE *** AS WELL . I CHECKED OTHER SITES ONLY TO REALIZE THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD.

    I cancelled a subscription that I noticed I had been being charged for month back in Jan 2025 with this company. They sent me an email stating charges would be refunded then May 26th I noticed I was being charged again a different amount. I have emaile them now many times sending them proof that I am being charged, I sent my card numbers they asked for. They continue to email now 12 different times multiple people asking me for the same information or stating different things such as an unautorized email that I have no association with and a name I do not know that was tied to the information I gave them. They continue now weeks later to keep asking for the same information in order to cancel, I have attached several of these emails showing how unprofessional and non productive the emails are, they are basically hoping I just give up and let them charge me every month??? I have contacted my credit card company as well and disputed these charges since I cannot get any traction with this company what so ever to get this stopped.

    I am filing this complaint due to consistent and unauthorized recurring charges from BetterMe, totaling $428.45 (representing eleven separate charges of $38.95 each) to my credit card. These charges began in April of 2024 and have continued without my consent or an active, authorized subscription.I did not authorize these recurring payments, nor was there clear and conspicuous disclosure regarding an automatic renewal prior to, or at the time of, any initial enrollment. Furthermore, I have found no easy or straightforward mechanism to cancel what appears to be an unwanted and unauthorized subscription.Despite multiple attempts to contact BetterMe support directly via their listed email addresses, my attempts to secure a refund have been unsuccessful. The lack of responsive and effective customer service has forced me to seek external assistance.This billing practice appears to be in direct violation of consumer protection laws, specifically California's Automatic Renewal Law (ARL), outlined in Business and Professions Code Sections ***** et seq. This law mandates clear and conspicuous disclosures, affirmative consent for recurring charges, and straightforward cancellation procedures, which I believe BetterMe has failed to provide.Transaction Details:Amount in Dispute: $428.45 Number of Unauthorized Charges: 11 Amount Per Charge: $38.95 Approximate Dates: From April 2024 - March 2025 5. Desired Resolution:"I demand a full refund of $428.45 to be processed immediately to my credit card."

    I cancelled my subscription and was charged a renewal subscription fee. I contacted the company, and they are not giving me any information to resolve the issue. They continue to repeat that the charge was $94, but I cancelled my subscription. I am not getting any resolution, and this is a fraudulent claim.

    Complaint Title:Unfair Denial of Refund for Unused Subscription Business Name:BetterMe Complaint:I am filing this complaint due to BetterMes refusal to issue a refund for a subscription I have never used. On February 23, 2025, I was charged $38.95 for a subscription. On March 23, 2025, I was charged an additional $38.95 as part of the recurring billing cycle. After realizing that I had no use for the service, I reached out to BetterMe to request a refund.Despite clearly stating that I have never used the product not once BetterMe refused to provide a refund. Instead, they repeatedly redirected me to their policy which states that a refund can only be issued if usage of the app is proven. This policy is unreasonable in my case. I am not trying to exploit the service I simply want my money back for a product I never accessed.I also made it clear that I was not interested in any alternative offers, discounts, or bonuses. I was met with upselling tactics and automated responses rather than proper customer service.Has the business attempted to resolve your issue?No. They have not tried to resolve the issue they only redirected me back to their policy and attempted to offer additional products or discounts instead of addressing my actual concern.Resolution Requested:I am requesting a full refund for both charges totaling $77.90 as the subscription was never used and I received no benefit from the service.

    This company is clearly a bait and switch price company. I bought a $15 subscription and was then charged $38.95 for the next month. I was not aware that I signed up for a $40 subscription and this is the first time I have ever seen a company change a reoccurring subscription price after the first month. There are tons of people complaining online about this exact same thing happening. I tried to request a refund and they said Im not eligible because I didnt use it 7+ timesits just a scam and a money grab. No reputable business hides their charges, they are using deceptive business practices. I would be willing to settle the issue if I could get a refund, because I really dont think its fair for me to pay $15 then another $38.95 (unknowingly)and Ive only used the app 4 times. Ridiculous! I am ok with paying $15 but $40 the next month is excessive, and there is no reason to pay extra, there were no new additions its just a money grab.

    Predatory Billing Practices I never once used their service and bought it at a promotional price. They automatically billed me 3 months later against my knowledge and will for $100 and refused to honor my withdrawal request even though I made it within the required 14 days. Their customer service completely ignored all my emails and plenty of other people seem to be in the same situation as me. I will be disputing the transaction and canceling my card with my bank as a result I consider this company to be fraudulent

    I have been trying for two years to cancel subscription. The company keeps sending me products and charging my account. this has been goin on since 2022

    Business has continued to charge on a monthly basis an amount of 10 dollars since May of 2023 when an email requesting cancellation of account was requested. Would like a refund in the amount of 240 dollars.
