    I placed an order with Tilesbay on Nov 20, 2023. I sent a request to cancel the order on Nov 27, 2023, through Tilesbay customer service ("*****************"), prior to any product be shipped. I got no response, so I sent the request again on Nov 28 to "*****************". Again I got no response, so I sent the request again on Nov 29 to "*****************". Still no response so I went on to the live chat support board on the Tilesbay website. A person identifying as "************" took my cancellation request, informed me that the amount would be refunded through PayPal within **** days. After the appointed time period, no refund. Working through the live chat support board, it has been a nothing but subterfuge and misleading statements over the next several weeks. Finally I was referred back to...you guessed it, "*****************". On Thursday Dec 23, "*****************" wrote to me: "I see your refund is in processing and you can expect it by tomorrow or next business day." That "next business day" was Tuesday Dec. 26. On Wednesday Dec 27 when asked for an update "*****************" wrote: "Let me check with our team on the current status and will get back to you as soon we have more information." It is now Dec 28 and ******** still has my money. (This is clearly not a "glitch" or a "one-off" situation as you can see by the review left by ************************* 5/19/2021 on this site.)My attorney is now active and I hope we are able to not only secure the funds originally sent to ********, but also damages. I also expect that, through the legal process, we will be able to uncover the actual refund policy, as well as other operational practices of Tilesbay.There seems to be a growing number of these reports, on this and other platforms, and it would be wise to avail yourself to as many of them as possible, if you intend to do business with Tilesbay.In the meantime, I bought stone from another local provider, returned an unused portion, and was refunded the cost for that portion 24 hours later.
