    Unfortunately, after having been loyal to this company at four local addresses over the span of close to 40 years, we have had to find another local company to support. Our service became very inconsistent and as time passed, they just werent showing up. We tried calling (had to leave messages because no one answers), emailing, messaging, even posting on their ******** posts and page. We never received one single response. Our trash was overflowing and piling up. This was, and still is occurring, in our entire neighborhood. It has been going in for months. They post all the woe is me updates about all that has happened with their employees and trucks, make empty promises, and post lies about being caught up and back on schedule. It is unsanitary & fraudulent. Their failure to respond to communication is unacceptable, as is their failure to provide refunds to the multitude of customers awaiting refunds for services paid for months in advance to a company we trusted to do so with for *********** ******* from them stated, ********** recently merged with Hickory Sanitation, which was posted after I communicated with them in FB Messenger that I heard they had been sold and asking if that was correct (no response to me directly). It turns out, there was no merge, they did purchase the company. The new owners, while we tried to wait patiently for them to get their act together, have ultimately proven after months of frustration, to be dishonest, untrustworthy, and uncommunicative with their (former) loyal customers. *I searched the company in ******************** site and the only one I could locate was Hickory Sanitation in ******, **. Their FB account lists Hwy 140 in ******, **, as their address. I have been told by others they are now working out of ********, **; however, I have nothing to support that. As a caution to inadvertently leave this poor review on the wrong company listed in BBB, I chose to add them myself with the information I have.

    No trash pick up for three weeks since they merged companies. We have contacted without a response. We finally had to take our 13 bags to the dump.

    No trash pick up since 11/19/2024. No response to emails. This is not the first issue we have had with them.
