      ************************* is the owner of 2 companies; Brick to Branch and My Tree Guy. I hired them to build a retaining wall for my 15k. After receiving my estimate, ***** later sent me a text stating he could save me 800 if I ordered my wall blocks with another client "now"... When I agreed, he drove an hr away to pick up a **** check at 8pm. This should a have a red flag. The next week I followed up to see when they could start. At this point, ***** stated he had my materials but no crew available. I inquire about sodding my yard instead of seed and ***** presses for this on several occasions, trying to convince me to pay for sod now before the retaining wall has even been started. I decline. He continues to say he has no crew for my job for over a month until I inquire about refunding my money. The guys come one day and dig downspout trenches for 2 hrs, leave for lunch and never return; I'm told " food poisoning" by *****. For weeks after this I'm told they are having issues getting the rest of the retaining wall blocks; Blocks that were allegedly paid for and obtained almost 2 months earlier. When I ask for a refund because the company can not provide the service in which they were paid, ***** wants 20% of contract total and restocking fee for materials (he doesn't have). Eventually the guys show up with 2 pallets of blocks, work for 1.5 days, incorrectly place the blocks not allowing room for drainage, request additional 15% for labor (per contract) and never return again after being paid.... At this point they have received almost the full contract balance. ***** forwards my calls and ignores text messages. Im pretty certain my money has been spent on things other than my project, which is why my job was delayed, can't be completed, and my money is not being refunded. We are seeking legal counsel to retrieve our money at this point.

      My Tree Guy Tree Experts LLC operates under several alias. He also has a *********** and *********** addresses. ************************* represented his company as Brick to Branch. This corporation has not been registered with the ****************. This discrepancy was discovered after I wrote a check payable to ************************* in the amount of $18,455 and I requested a certificate of insurance. The total contract was for $36,910. Brick to Branch also misrepresented its insurance status. After requesting the information, it provided an insurance certificate secured the same day of my follow up. The insurance levels were insignificant. BricktoBranch has an EIN number aligned to ********************* (she appears in a My Tree Guy Tree Experts and ***************** LLC as as organizer as *********************, *******). She is either the wife or girlfriend of *************************. ****************** said he had another company, My Tree Guy Tree Experts, which has the appropriate insurance. I requested a refund and noted that if we provided the contract with the proper company name and insurance, I would consider moving forward. ****************** said he would have to return items purchased but would be willing to refund my money within five days. However, he has failed to do so after several attempts to contact.

      I hired My Tree Guy Tree Experts and Landscape (*****************************) to build a retaining wall. The project took over 3 months and not yet completed, leading to HOA violations and eventually county violations I was issued as a result of contractor's negligence and failures to perform. I am also financially damaged as all the work he has done has been found to be incorrect by an engineer I was asked to hire by the county. I was also charged for work promised, but not delivered as of yet and material I have paid for has been kept hostage. To date, I have paid him $22,743.71, with $2493.50 due after completion.I signed a contract on the 18th of February with *****************************, registered owner of Tree Guy Tree Experts and Landscape, to remove trees and replace 2 tie retaining walls with cement modular blocks. After many ongoing complains about the delays, on the 15h of April he did some work in laying half a row of blocks and sent me a picture thru SMS. With my laymans knowledge, I had to question him for the missing drainage pipes, lack of #** gravel and I requested him for receipts of materials paid for as I was concerned the delays were due to issues paying the suppliers. He got very upset and hostile and pulled the half row of blocks there laid out (already paid for) and threatened to put a lien on my house. Due to the precarious situation he had left me with, I had to plead with hime to continue the work as planned.Clintons delays on the project caused HOA to issue violations and eventually led to the Gwinnett County issuing me a violation for building a retains wall without having a permit; one that the contractor should have been aware of with his claim of 20+ years of experience, yet failed to get the permit.After receiving the county violation, I was told work with an engineer to design the wall. During that process, engineer discovered that everything had been done incorrectly. Not even a permit was taken for one who claimed 20 years exp
