      Movers packed my jewelry box and stole it even though their contract says not to pack or load it on the truck. They should not have touched it. I had a lot of expensive watches and a diamond bracelet as well as my passport in that box.

      Date of initial move was October 30, 2023 The amount I was quoted was an additional $833.00 plus the ****** which equals $1483.00 Now they are saying I owe $2254.72 Total I did not sign and agree to that. I will be more than happy to pay what I was quoted. They never sent me any information in reference to what was due until today. I have called many times and it was only when I called in reference to an extension to storage in which I sent Pro Movers $550.00 for that. Even though they are supposed to deliver on 12/15 or 2 days after.This is very unfair and I really need someone to assist me with this issue. The docs they text me today were signed by me but the amounts have all been written in and I never received this information before today. I went into this move with ****** in good faith hoping I would not have to face this type of energy.I am now getting the runaround from Pro Movers and ******. Please help me with resolving this so I can get my furniture and move on with my life.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      Although I accepted the offer presented it was because I was getting nowhere with the operations manager and neither the company who I first signed up with. I want to make people aware of the issue when trying to move from one place to another with assistance from a moving company. It's already stressful then you add additional expense. When getting ready to move please do your due diligence. What they don't tell you becomes very expensive. When you tell them you have a bed, you almost have to count your screws. I am not at all satisfied with ********************** nor the contractor Pro Movers. They quoted me one price then signed my name to a different invoice. I also did not receive any invoice prior to 2 days before my furniture was to be delivered. then they hit me with an additional amount of almost ******* more than the original.   

      Now to the 2nd part of my complaint, the driver shows up and there is only one guy. I guess he did his best but, my things were all over the place and I have provided pictures. Even my son offered to help him unload because he was struggling. He refused assistance. Can I say rude, he walks in my mom's house while I am still at the storage unit and tells my sister to make a copy of the invoice. because I was taking too long. So I did not get to review anything with him. Also, the next day I had to pay someone else to come and straighten out all my things so I can at least make some sense of my items.

      I paid them but, I feel there was no effort to accommodate me. I spoke with ****** who was very condescending and everything I said to him he downed me or talked over me. I was not treated with any respect. I felt that he tried to make it appear I did something wrong. But the ball was drooped on their end. I never received any update about payment from Oct 30, 2023, until Weds December 13th and then I get a handwritten text invoice with my signature from a previous doc I had signed saying I had signed and agreed to the new amount which is totally untrue. Please be very careful and in the future, I hope they do a better job for their customers.  Pro Movers nor ********************** I will run the other way if I see their ads anywhere.  I pray I do not have to move again but, if I do trust and believe this would not be a choice or a thought for these companies. I tried to upload photos of the condition of my items that were unloaded but files would not upload

      I gave the customer  a $400 discount from a $700 addtional , as you see she decieved me to give her a discount and agreed to the terms now she misleading me again.

      Job no. U1511571 Movers Van Lines showed up on day of pick up (July 15, 2023) 4 hours late without the correct loading equipment for items listed on the Bill of Laden. Because of 3 heavy items, a lift gate was required, along with loading assistance which I was required to provide and did (4 persons & a pallet ****** The move size ended up being substantially larger than the parent companies estimate (APT) or the ********************************* packers did a poor job. Either ********************************* failed to adhere to APTs move description of they ignored them. They proceeded loading, supposedly filling two small trucks. They could not / would not load the 3 heavy items then quickly departed for the delivery a few days later (July 18) minus items listed on their Bill of Laden. I had to drive over 500 miles to meet the trucks as they refused to deliver later... On the day of delivery, they never called to say when they would arrive. Unloading was a fiasco with rude threatening demands from their home office in **, requiring my summoning a Sheriff. Somehow, one of the trucks arrived having property which was not ours, hence it was not "full" at the time of our pick up, Movers damaged the hardwood flooring and refused to unwrap / set up numerous items they had wrapped... as stated in the contract. They are not responding to my complaint, appearing to refuses or accept any responsibility. Their lies, threats and delays in responding caused our stress levels **************** abuse) to go to the **** raised havoc in logistics & has cost us substantial amounts of money. It is still unresolved, our property is split in different states. Items have to be unpacked & set up, flooring needs to be repaired all requiring substantial more money on our part.
