We bought a ******* Refrigerator from Farmers Furniture in *************, *** We have done buisness with them for YEARS. Always good, until now. Still paying on the Refrigerator. Should have warranty still on it. The Veggie drawer broke. Well, the screw/wheel broke that it connects and slides on. They sent the delivery driver to fix it twice. The first time he said the wrong part was ordered and that it was the shelf above the drawer after the first visit he said it was the part the drawer itself slides on. By the third visit, he was using our glue on the broken screw/wheel to put a part on that they ordered (that he himself said he didn't know a lot about doing it & after he said that was not the correct part). He was their delivery driver and not an appliance repair person.
They told me before the repair that it was cosmetic and they would not fix it. This was after they had ordered the wrong part and they stated their Home office would not let them return it and receive a credit. So, they decided to put the wrong/right(???) part ordered on after a lot of confusion but it's not the correct part or put on properly.
Anyway, after 2 weeks, it's beginning to hang and it's wobbly on one side where it was "repaired". SAME THING IT DID BEFORE. I'm sure it is not going to hold up. I ask why they could not get the appliance repair guy to come fix it. (They did once before when the seal was not sealing properly on the freezer section of the fridge). And no reply from them.
Only reason I am contacting you, is to see if you can contact them and help me get the fridge repaired properly. We have put a lot of money over the years into Farmers products and this one, we still are. I just want the Refrigerator fixed properly. We use the drawers inside the fridge daily.
The pictures and video are the drawer on the left veggie drawer, and the screw part that broke and the glue showing where it was glued, compared to the right side of the same drawer that is not broken.Business Response

I have been paying on my washer and dryer for the last year or so. The dryer has went out several times and had to be fixed. The washer has also went out. The last 3 times, Farmer’s Furniture in ****** has made sure someone has came out to fix the issue. It’s been going on 3 weeks that I’ve been calling and trying to get it fixed or replaced. Cheryl gave someone the number to the repairer and they told me to call. I’ve called the repairer also and no response. I have had to go out to dry clothes and that’s unacceptable. At this point I want a replacement. The dryer isn’t even paid off and I’ve had so much trouble with it. Something has to be done and as soon as possible. Why am I still making payments on something that does not work? I need a replacement or I can return it!!Business Response

My payments have been a little later due to my husband being in the hospital. I have yet to be over 30 days late with any payment and will have this caught up by March, I just needed a little time to get straightened out. They called me 5 times yesterday, 3 times the day before and I can keep listing. I work 3rd shift and I would appreciate them not calling 5 times a day while I am trying to sleep.Business Response

I went into the ************ store and purchased a bed frame and box spring with taxes and delivery fee the total came to about $800. I made this purchase in March and the side of my bed railing has completely snapped in half while I was laying on it with my one year old son. The quality of this bed is terrible and definitely should have lasted for longer than it did. I've had to fix parts of this bed multiple times since I've gotten it. I would like a new bed frame or a refund for the bed frame.Business Response

I have a false late payment from 2019 that has been reported on my credit report. I didn't have an account with Farmers Furniture in 2019, so I've been trying to reach out to no avail. I bought some furniture from them last year and have always made my payments on time. This year in July, I missed a payment.. ONE payment and they started calling me over 10 times a day, leaving me voicemails, and I just had a guy leave my house because he wanted to know when I would be able to make the payment, It's harassment, I can afford to make the payment but with how much they're bothering me, I don't want to make it.Business Response

Starting June 2022, we started calling to receive repairs as per the warranty. For over a month and a half they stalled us, 'forgetting' about it and 'losing' the pictures we sent. The original date we sent pictures to the manager was June XX XXXX at 11:01 am to her cell phone X XXX XXX XXXX. After about a month and a half/two months of 'reminding' them of their obligation to fix my recliner according to the warranty I purchased, we finally called corporate. They finally agreed to pick up the chair and fix it. The delivery men showed up on August **** 2022. Suddenly, Monday September the **** 2022, the employees in the store called, saying that corporate denied the repair under warranty due to what they called 'customer abuse'. We received the chair back today, Wednesday September **** 2022, and it was damaged much further then what it was when I sent it (I have pictures). The recliner handle that lets up and down the legs has been damaged to the point where it is now pointing to the back of the chair fully (a full 45 degree difference) from where it was when I had it. The chair was sabotaged so they did not have to fulfill the warranty.
I want either the chair to be fully repaired to its original working state, or a replacement of the exact make and model, or if all that fails, a refund for the product and the warranty costs.Business Response

I bought a reclining love seat. They forgot to order it. They changed delivery date. Called changed date again. It was leaning on one side. They sent man to look at it, took pictures. One month later, checked on it, They said they were working on it. One month later, they left my wife on hold for 20 minutes, I guess they don't know us. The consumer received a voucher to come in and spend an exact amount of money and keep her payments the same. Once she arrived at the store, she was advised that the amount was incorrect and she could actually spend more money than previously told and keep her payments the same. After making her choice on the item she wanted, her payment went from $50 to $90 which was not how the voucher was presented to her. She was then told she should have probably brought her balance down before adding a new item but her voucher did not reflect that.Business Response

I purchased a **** power recliner from Farmers Home furnishing at the ******** ** location on ********* i picked chair up approx 1 week later due to having to order. Sales order id # XXXXXXXXXX Stock # **** ***** SKU # XXXXXX with fabric protection in the amount of $634.93 After approx 2 weeks the recliner would no longer stay reclined after putting chair into reclinig position it would gradually begin to raise until back in sitting position. I went to the store on Tuesday July **** 2022 and spoke with manager and explained the situation she stated she would have someone come out the following day Wednesday JUly **** at 1 oclock. Never showed up, received phone call from manager at approx 330 that afternoon apologizing and rescheduled for the next day Thursday the ***** After they looked and took pictures stated would give info to manager and have her follow up. after a couple days nothing I called still no resolution. THen called Regional Rep she had store manager come out herself to look and take pics of chair at which time mgr agreed definitly a problem, Mgr said she definitely call me the next day and again hear nothing. I told the regional rep and the store manager I would like to spend a lil more money and get a better quality chair. was told thats not how this works. Was told they would have to get with manufacturer first to see what they would do. So on Aug *** i again went to store to speak with mgr and apparently nothing has yet to be done stated she would go ahead and send email to regional rep. So here I sit with a non reclining power recliner and no answers. In the beginning i had accepted the fact that I would have to take a replacement however at this point i no longer want to do any kind of business with this so called company and want my MONEY back.Business Response
