    I purchased a set of show piece knives to put into my kitchen. I ordered these knives in December 2024 and they arrived two weeks later. I used the knives very sparingly a week or two ago, I noticed that the handle of one of the knives is cracking when I use it and pieces of plastic resin just falling out, exposing a very sharp mesh material that just cuts into the hand when using the knives.I sent images and videos of the problem to the people at Seido Knives and requested a full refund because I DO NOT trust this company to send me replacements. I also requested a full refund but they denied it.I have also filed a claim with citi credit cards, the medium of payment that I used to purchase this knife set. It is still processing with citi credit cards. They have not replied to me yet.I believe that these knives are a safety hazard and should NOT be sold in the ***I have tried calling this company and left a voicemail but they are just ignoring my concerns.

    In December 2023 I purchased a set of knives from this company with the understanding they had a limited lifetime warranty. I am being told that it is my fault that my knife shank has broken and they will not replace the defective item. I have taken all measures to keep this expensive knife set in great shape, and feel they should honor their warranty. All I am asking for is a replacement. I am told I did not file a claim within 30 days of purchase, which does not go along with any type of warranty for the future. This company is making false claims.

    To Whom It May ********* am writing to file a formal complaint against Seido Knives, alleging false advertising and unfair business practices. On January 30, 2024, I purchased a knife set for $229, enticed by Seido Knives' promises of exceptional quality and a 30-day 100% satisfaction guarantee warranty.However, the knives quickly revealed significant rusting issues after initial use, directly contradicting the durability and quality assurances touted by Seido Knives. Upon contacting their customer support team to address the matter and seek a refund, I was met with dismissive responses and arbitrary conditions.Initially, Seido Knives attempted to dismiss the rusting as normal wear and tear, a claim incongruent with their advertised warranty. Moreover, their interpretation of the warranty's "trial" period, requiring customers to determine satisfaction without using the product, renders the guarantee effectively meaningless.Despite acknowledging the need for transparency, Seido Knives' proposed resolutions, including a 20% restocking fee and requiring customers to bear return shipping costs, are excessive and unjustifiable. Such conditions not only deter dissatisfied customers from seeking recourse but also undermine the credibility of their satisfaction guarantee.Furthermore, the selective deletion of reviews that deviate from overwhelmingly positive ratings on their website raises serious questions about the integrity of Seido Knives' review system. This practice misleads potential customers and deprives them of honest feedback necessary for informed purchasing decisions.In light of these concerns, I urge a thorough investigation into Seido Knives' business practices and request a full refund for the defective product, inclusive of the restocking fee. Consumers deserve transparency, fair treatment, and accountability from businesses, and it is imperative that action be taken to address these issues promptly.
