    My small business was hired by the Atlanta Gladiators on June 19th to re-do their locker room. We met with ************************* CFO, ***************** Equipment Manager, and ***************** Director of Hockey Operations to lay out the scope of work and set a price. The scope covered a new locker room with benches and upper cubbies a new stick rack and re-purposing the dry locker area. We set a more than reasonable price and even discounted it even more for a trade of hockey tickets to a game. We started work on the locker room, built a stick rack, and even built them two tables for their coffee area for free. As we were finishing up the locker room ***************** stated to us that they had decided not to do the re-purposing of the dry locker room. We discounted the final price to reflect that change. Upon completion of the work, we tried unsuccessfully for several weeks to reach someone about final payment. Eventually we were informed that they were not going to pay the balance owed for our work. After going back and forth for another few weeks we were sent a payment that was significantly lower than what was owed. We have reached out numerous times to mediate this issue with no luck. I was told by someone in management that several vendors had not been paid and that this was a pattern of the new ownership. I would highly recommend not entering into work agreements with them.
