American Home Shield (AHS) sent Eagle Heating and Air of GA out to diagnose the unit in May 2023 [see photo from June 2, 2023]. ******, showed up & said I need a new compressor. After waiting a month for the compressor, they sent ******* out to replace the compressor. The out-of-pocket repair costs were $800, which I agreed to pay before they would even send someone back to the house. ******* showed up and said since my compressor hadn't completely failed that he couldn't replace it. He said that he "fixed" something else and left without replacing the compressor on 7-2-23.However, they told AHS they replaced the compressor!Fast forward to 10-27-23, ****** comes back out, diagnosed a bad compressor causing a short. Noted that the breaker surge protector was still live & the breaker didn't trip [in writing].However, since they have already been paid out for the compressor by AHS, they were on the hook for the whole replacement cost. Consequently, ****** (sp?), who is in Eagle's front office, changed the diagnosis that they submitted to AHS & stated that the system was hit by a power surge so that AHS would deny the claim. They now want over $2,500 to replace the compressor. When confronted with the written diagnosis not matching what was submitted to AHS on a 3-way call w/ AHS ***************** ****** read the documentation & said the tech diagnosed something different than was written & provided to me in writing. When asked why they didn't replace the compressor as authorized and paid to do back in July, she insisted that I refused to pay the $800 & went so far as to say ******* has been fired so he can't be reached. If that was true, then why do I have a written invoice from 7-2-23 on Eagle letterhead saying he fixed something else? You literally admitted that the written diagnosis was different than what was submitted to AHS, that you stole AHS's money for the compressor install then got mad at me when you got called out on it.

Think Company is very unprofessional. I was lied to and they tried to extort me by not coming out to fix my unit until I paid the extra high out of pocket freon cost up front. This is after they said the tech guy was in route for a week straight. I spoken with the owner who was very rude and delusional.

I have a home warranty with American Home Shield and Eagles Heating and Cooling of Georgia was the contractor they sent to fix my ac unit. My issue started Jul 3, 2022. It is Sep 9, 2022 and my ac unit is still not fixed. They have been to my house more than nine times and have sent seven different technicians who were unable to properly diagnose the problem. Each time they came out there was a new issue. From the coil, to the compressor, and some other unidentified part that was supposed to be replaced, They scheduled an appointment to install the part but was a no show and no call. I called them and they surprisingly answered. I was told the wrong part was sent and they had to put in a truest for the right part. Today they were supposed to install the part but was another no show and no call. I tried to call but my number has been blocked. I googled the address and headed over to this establishment only to find that this business is operating out of a house. I called AHS and informed them about this contractor as I have in the past. I am waiting on a resolution from AHS. I am out $2,200 dollars because the warranty didnt cover the coil. This company is the worst in customer service I have ever experienced. They are 90% non responsive to calls and lack professionalism. I would have preferred to give them zero stars.
