  BEWARE!!!! I really dont know how this company has stayed in business as long as it has. As I researched them after the fact, which was my fault, I realized that this is what he does best. They replaced a hot water heater for us and changed us $4800.00 yes I know now. I was told by both the owner Billy **** and ***** **** that they would refund some of the money, which was almost 2 months ago. I havent heard anything from them and dont expect on it. I have called numerous times, but they dont even have the courtesy to call me back..

  WARNING!!! Do NOT use Billy Bell Plumbing!!! Their slogan should actually be "call Billy Bell if you want to scream and yell". We were trying to support a local business and called him to fix an issue we were experiencing. The nitty gritty details are boring and not important. We stupidly did not look into him as if we had done so we would have quickly found he is an unethical, con artist that preys on people in time of need. Yelp, ****** and the BBB are full of horrible reviews. He has an F rating with the BBB and is not allowed to be a member. The reviews contain story after story from other customers he has conned, scammed, threatened, overcharged, did shoddy work for, caused damage in their homes, etc... Part of his mode of operation is that he gives a price for the job and then when in the middle of it starts adding fees and making up other charges. After paying him $5500 over two days and thinking he was going to come back and finish on a 3rd day he instead showed up with two new estimates - one for almost 8K and one for almost 28K on top of what was already paid! Needless to say we called for a 2nd opinion. Innovative Plumbing was able to fix the issue for 1K and it's worked great ever since. As for the damage he caused - he turned on a shower to check that a drain pipe was unclogged and walked away. This caused an overflow situation and it flooded our downstairs bathroom directly below where he was working. We had to spend $1100 to get it fixed - we got it back in court. I've found he is VERY well known in both the Forsyth and Hall courts - and that's not a compliment. I am sharing our experience in hopes that no one else gets involved with Billy Bell Plumbing. And please, always check out people you hire using online resources. We very rarely break this rule but the one time we did we were burned. Let our ****** pay it forward and save you the trouble.

  My septic pump was out. ***** charged me *****. He knew I had been down two days and needed pump replaced. After being suspicious Ive come to learn this price is almost twice what it should cost. They never provided ************* or documentation for the new pump. No manufacturer warranty info provided when asked. Nothing but just give us a call. Competitive quotes is something I should have done but the aggressive pricing took advantage of my situation and lack of septic knowledge. Billy Bell plumbing will s**** you if you give them the chance.

  If you have plenty of money to spend this Co.is fine I had a clog in my Kitchen sink that I could not *******. They came out and unstopped it at the tune of $1700.00 I am a senior, widow on a fixed income so this price was very excessive for me to handle My fault entirely for not checking them out thoroughly. Please be aware that you will pay dearly for their service.It took them around an hour to fix. Hope this helps someone.

  I had this company come out to replace a faucet on the side of the house. Agreed for them to come out a day later because I knew they were busy. Me and the family were without water for 1.5 days and that is OK. They finally arrived, did not have to come in the house, used $15 worth of parts and it took 20 minutes to complete. Charged me $825. Now, it was cold and we needed it done so I would pay an up charge but that was ridiculous. I finally talked to owner, after several calls, to verify the cost and he stated the pull-up charge was $550 which was never mentioned. He ended the call by telling me only broke M-Fers complained about the cost and threatened me. Hope BBB takes this type of issue seriously.

  We called this company based on a recommendation. Our hot water heater was not working properly. They diagnosed the problem and were able to fix it, but I feel like they took advantage of my wife who was the point person for the project. They stated that it would be $6000 to replace and $1500 to fix. She chose the second option because of sticker shock from the first one. After the fact, I confirmed that he price of the part to fix the heating element was $200 (you can purchase similar parts at ********** or Lowes for less than 50). Most of their labor consisted of driving to get the part, draining the tank and filling it back up. The total time spent was around 3 hrs. 1500-200=1300 for labor/3 hr=433.33 per hour. I tried to point out that this was ridiculous but they refused to budge. Since this experience, I've talked to other plumbers who said that I could have gotten an entirely new system for the price. They should be ashamed of themselves for overcharging people.
