      My son visited Sparkles Skating Rink at the Smyrna location this evening. He was there with a couple of his friends from school. He sent me a text at 8:07p stating the tennis shoes he wore to the skating rink were missing and he was looking for them. I told him to speak to Management about the shoes. He did. He was told by *******, they would have to look at the cameras on Monday. I then went up to the rink to see what was going on. ******* told me only the owner had access to the cameras and would not look at them until Monday. I told her someone needs to compensate me for the shoes I had just recently purchased for my son. She in turn told me, she wasnt giving me anything. I then spoke to the Security ******** ******************* I expressed my frustration and asked for the Owners contact info. He gave me the phone number to the Skating Rink. I told him I could ****** that on my own and my son did not walk into the establishment barefoot and shouldnt have to walk outside in the cold and rain barefoot. He then stated they dont provide shoes in this situation. The lack of empathy and disregard for the situation was appalling. I will be speaking to someone concerning this incident. There are no signs posted stating you all are not responsible for stolen items. So, my request was not far-fetched. I understand the Owner wasnt on site but for every rule, there is an exception. I am severely disgusted and disappointed in your staff and Security officer. I would like someone to reach out to me concerning this issue ASAP. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
