    I brought my car on April.14 at 10am.I was told it was goin to be 24 to 48 hr before they could do a diagnostic test. I received a call from them 3 days later and was given the run around,telling me ppl was out sick this week etc about what was wrong with my car, I was told it could be a number of things wrong with it. I told them to fix what was wrong with it 2 weeks past I haven’t heard anything from this company I did a drop in to see what was taking so long with my car and he didn’t have a estimate on how much it would be to fix my car.So basically my car been sitting and no repairs only a smoke test that cost me 320.00$ ridiculous.Moral of the story save yourself some time and don’t do business here.

    Talk about great customer service. When my car didn't start this morning it was towed to the AAMCO here in Macon. This was my first experience with AAMCO here in Macon. Initially I was told it might not be until tomorrow before they could get to my car. When they found out I would have to rent a car so I could get to work the next day, they expedited the service on my car. Luckily they fixed the problem; therefore, I was able to cancel my rental car. I cannot thank them enough. If and when I need work done on my car, I will take it back to their repair shop. They are second to none.

    Had AAMCO remanufactured transmission installed in '** Monte Carlo around **** or **** 2021. Don't have receipt in front of me at the moment...irrelevant because it's 3 years unlimited mileage warranty. They also replaced a worn motor mount and Mass Airflow sensor. Car has run fine for a year...Started slipping and found transmission leak. Took it back to AAMCO Macon on ****** ***, 2022 to get checked out. Was told they fixed the leak and the motor mount was bad again so they would fix under warranty. It is now ** ******. They have had my car for 2 weeks for a motor mount...which is a 30 minute to 1 hour job max (I have done them and will do this one myself). I called Monday and was told they were hoping to get it done Tuesday or Wednesday. I told them I needed vehicle Thursday for appointment Friday. Today I called and vehicle not touched. I informed them I will get the vehicle tomorrow morning and to have it ready to drive out motor mount replaced or not. Curious to see what awaits in the morning....
    On another topic, this business likes to post reviewers' personal information ( name, address, phone number) if they leave a negative review. Customer's take note....

    We regret your inconvenience. We tried to explain to to you that you are covered under your warranty and that unfortunately we are very shorthanded currently and very backlogged. It would not be fair to put you before other customers who arrived prior to you. We are happy to take care of your situation if you will be patient.

    They stole my catalytic converter and accused me of abandoning my vehicle when that was not the case. I dropped my vehicle off and it took them weeks to contact me about the transmission issue. Once I was notified, after I had to call them they never had the paperwork on hand. Gary told me how much it would be and advised me of different payment options they had available. The finance options did not work out for me. They never called to tell me about any fees until the week I decided to pick it up. Once the vehicle was picked up I had it sent to another mechanic and he noticed that my catalytic convert was missing. I instantly called AAMACO and was met with such disgust I couldn't even bear the conversation. AMY mentioned to me that ECONOMY (another business located near them) has mentioned that vehicles have been getting broke into and parts go missing. I asked was my vehicle parked at Economy she advised not was parked at our shop. She proceeds to tell me that I can file it on my insurance and get a police report. after I mentioned this doesn't make any sense. she put me on hold and then Gary gets on the phone and proceeds to tell me that my car has been down there for month and its my fault the converter is missing. What I believe has happened is because they only charged me the diagnostic test (149.99) they needed more money and took my converter. after I expressed that to him he tells me that it was bad anyways? suspicious? yes very, at first he accused me of not having one and then quickly changed it to being bad. Not once did he ever mention the converter was bad all he wanted to do was fix the transmission This man is a LIAR AND A THIEF. He claims he was doing me a favor by waving the fees that I did not even know about. I have never stepped foot inside the location. so for him to act like they are not responsible for my converter is disgusting. If you didn't steal it show me proof of who did run the cameras back do something to keep your integrity.

    ** *****, most of your statement is incorrect & your imagination. Used converters have $0 worth to us. You were informed of the repair requirements of your vehicle. You then chose to leave it at our facility with no response as to your intention to repair for months. We are not a free parking facility. You only made the effort to tow the vehicle away when you were informed of storage charges. We graciously waived any storage fees. Had you removed the vehicle when originally asked you would not have put yourself in this situation. Your accusations are liable (look it up), if not removed you will hear from our attorney.

    I have the conversation on recording none of what I said is incorrect. you never informed me of any fees before the last week. you did not contact me alerting me of such. I contacted you asking of different finance options. parts sell all the time so a $0 value I disagree. you are responsible for my vehicle parked on your property and have your lawyer contact me that is fine you practice bad business as you can tell from your comments and then have the audacity to dox your customers you need an attitude adjustment. When asked to view the cameras you declined as i stated before YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHEN THEY WERE TAKEN . The converter could have been taken in the first month or the last month you wont even give me the courtesy to review the footage. as I stated above you choose to waive the fee and then harass me about it. I dropped my vehicle off via tow I picked my vehicle up via tow. where is the sign that says you are not responsible for my parts on my car? you have yet to answer that. imagination or not you are responsible.

    Again, we took into consideration your ignorance to storage charges on abandoned vehicles. That is why we did not apply charges. To repeat: The video that you seem to feel would be significant does not exist, therefore cannot be viewed. You also stated yourself that your vehicle was towed each time. The signage that you refer to is posted, as well as a statement included upon your provided invoice. We cannot be held responsible for your irresponsible actions.
