On 6/28/25 I was going to order the **** OBD2 scanner but stopped to look at reviews, which showed at least 20 people charged for the scanner ($22.09) and then a later charge for some kind of subscription at ($99.99). I immediately deleted all of my information from the transaction, never clicked the purchase now button. Within minutes I had a charge of $22.09 to debit card. I finally got in touch with customer service and told them I didn't order the scanner. At that same time I got an email saying to come back and complete purchase that something went wrong during checkout.(Email attached along with two charges to bank card). The scanner came 7/3/25. I haven't even opened it. This morning I got a fraud alert from my bank at 7:20 for a $99.99 charge from ****(receipt attached). I never authorized ANY charges to my bank account. Now on Saturday morning the bank has locked my debit card and I have no access to my money, I don't write checks, until I can go to the bank and pay for a new debit card which will cost me $10. I feel like I should get an immediate refund for the $22.09+$99.99(+$10.00) I am now going to have to pay for a new debit card! This seems to be a scam company as I've read dozens of reviews on Reddit saying nearly the exact same thing. Why is this still going on? Have people not complained before now?Business Response

I have attached your order confirmation page to this response. As you can see, you did agree to our yearly subscription. Our support team has already issued you a refund for your subscription, per our 30-day money back guarantee. As for your sensor, we have already emailed you a prepaid return label. You can use that to ship the sensor back to us, or you can pay for your own label. Once the order is returned, we will issue you a refund for the sensor. Please note, since you have already initiated the return, the 30-day money back guarantee will apply to your sensor as well.
Please note that the subscription is entirely optional, so you can choose to keep the sensor as well, just without the subscription.

I am rejecting this response because: I never clicked the buy now or pay now button! As per your own email telling me to come back and complete the checkout process. I will send the monitor back when the label comes, however I never completed this transaction and deleted all of my information but somehow in the few minutes between me putting the info in, checking reviews and deleting the information your company captured it and went ahead with the transaction on your own accord.

Hello,
We can only process the payment for the order once you click "complete purchase" because the ** details are not submitted to our payment processor until that happens. When you clicked that option, you were agreeing to the billing terms for the items listed in your cart, which the subscription was in your cart.
As stated in the previous response, we have issued you a refund for the subscription and canceled it for you. The prepaid return label has already been emailed to you, so we are waiting for you to return the sensor to us. Once you take action to return the sensor, a refund will be issued.

I am rejecting this response because: I will send the monitor back and see a refundfor $99.99 has been initiated, however, I did NOT click buy now! I have read several reviews on Reddit and elsewhere saying the exact same thing happened to them. I never subscribe to any kind of addition fees, charges etc..upon purchase and once I saw there was an additional fee of $69.99 (which you increased to $99.99) I deleted my information and did not click send. I am trying to get my card unlocked and am formally stating that there better not be any attempts for charges to my card as I am not authorizing nor have I authorized anything to be charged to my card

I ordered a car diagnosis gadget called FIXD for approximately $20. I received the ***** but have not used it yet. The original order did not mention that a $99 subscription fee would be charged after a two week trial period. I've since followed the directions and links to cancel the subscription fee, and get a refund. BUT, that option doesn't work (ie, you can click on it forever and nothing happens). I will follow up by refusing the charge to my credit card, and hopefully I'll get my $105.99 back. I researched it online, and there are many similar complaints.Business Response

I am so sorry that our self cancellation link did not work! You are eligible for a refund, so you should have been able to issue the refund yourself. I see that you reached out to us for the first time yesterday afternoon, so in the future, we do request that if you have any issues with our app, website, etc. you let one of our support agents know that we have a chance to address it.
As for your subscription, I have processed your refund and canceled it for you, so you will not be charged again in the future.

I purchased the **** modules ( 2 ) for my vehicles and have been using them for years and every time they try to get me to upgrade to Premium, I always make it known that I never want to upgrade to Premium! Now they have charged me the yearly fee for Premium upgrade, $105.49 that I never requested! Now they are saying that they can cancel my auto-renwal ( which I never agreed to) but cannot refund my Premium Upgrade subscription charges. ( that I never agreed to. ) I have taken every step that I can to ensure that I didn't get ripped off like the 100s of people that have complained to the BBB, and the 1000s that have complained online. I could not call them because they don't show a phone number, just emails. The emails are written so cryptic that it would confuse even the best of Attorneys. I just want a refund for the Premium Subscription that I never asked for, and vigorously tried to prevent, and my account stay exactly like I did agree to. I purchased 2 Modules and made it abundantly clear that I never wanted to be charged a fee for using them. And no extended warranties or anything else. Their product is great but their business practices are corrupt. Imagine if they fraudulently billed ******* customers. That's $10.5 million dollars annually!!!Business Response

Our emails, which you called cryptic, where not us trying to get you to sign up. They were informing you that you were signed up, which we are obligated to do. Compre un escner para Mi coche desde la pgina web de fixd. Para eso tuve que dar los datos de mi tarjeta de dbito. Cuando el dispositivo lleg a mi casa en las instrucciones me peda descargar una app de fixd as que proced a descargarla. Una ves dentro de la app me peda una suscripcin por la cantidad de ***** as que prefer uno usar el dispositivo. Al pasar de los das recibi mensajes de mi banco a mi correo alertndome sobre unos cobros fallidos de la empresa fixd, los mensajes no paraban de llegar por lo que me alerte y proced a ponerme en contacto con mi banco y reportar los intentos de cobros no autorizados que intentaban hacerle a mi cuenta. As you stated in your message, you did elect to subscribe to our premium subscription and authorized us to charge your card $99.99 once the free trial ended. We then attempted to charge your card. When we were unable to do so, we emailed you stating that you could either update the card or cancel the subscription. We also informed you that if no action was taken, then we would attempt to bill you again, which we did successfully.
In addition to the email communication that we had with you in regards to the billing issue, we also communicated that if you had any issues you could email us, which based on our records, you did not do. Since you are within our 30-day refund window, you are eligible for a refund and cancellation, which we would have gladly processed for you if you have contacted us first.

Transaction Date 4/11/25 Issued a stop payment at my bank for the charge of $105.99. Still went thru.Immediately contacted Fixd that I did not want there premium service. I purchased the scanner and downloaded the app. I was not aware that I would be charged for the premium service and did not agree to this. Went onto the **** website and app and cancelled my subscription. **** stated in email would take up to 30 days for refund. Each time we asked you for this information, you failed to respond. Instead, you created a new ticket asking for a refund, which left us in the same position.

I looked into ordering a Fixd product but never confirmed my order due to all the horrible reviews about customer service. Then I did receive product. I contacted them that I never confirmed order and they gave me the run around. Then I saw a charge on my credit card that was ***** for a subscription that goes with a product I never confirmed to purchase. So if you go to their website and put in all of your information and then decide not to purchase it doesn't matter, they will charge you even if you do not opt in to continue with purchase. Since I kept product, because it was too much of a hassle to return I am willing for them to keep that money if though I NEVER confirmed the purchase, but I am NOT willing to allow them to charge me even MORE money.Business Response

I want to add that I NEVER hit the submit button to order this product. I did input all my information but then I thought I should look into the company's reviews. I saw an ad o ******* and the cost was *****, so I placed an order. The tricky way the charged me ***** without asking me to confirm. I immediately tried to call, but there was no number to call. I sent an email, but that did not solve the problem. The next day I track the phone number and told them tat I wanted to cancel the order and any membership. The response was okay. About a week later my card was charged ****** I called again and the *** tried to tell me I did not cancel before the trial period ended.She later found my complaint and said she would give it to her supervisor to issue my refund. Hello,
We received all 8 separate support tickets that you created yesterday afternoon and this morning. We have already responded and provided you with your requested resolution. Your order was canceled and a refund was issued.
Additionally, there was only one sales transaction of $50.47. Your original payment was declined, so one of the $50.47 charges will say "pending" and eventually be removed from your statement. The other is your refund transaction, so that is a credit, not a debit on your statement.
