I canceled service last year and a year later they are back charging my account in the amount of $79 out of no where everyday. They always been rude with customer service **** is his name. I say change your bank account information, red flag their ***, and hit them with that BBB complaint. I'm over IT. I want this to completely stop and my money back asapBusiness Response

You were never charged for the most recent billing cycle, so there are no charges to refund. We do not see any attempts to cancel the subscription prior to you calling in the other day, so the auto-billing was attempted and then canceled once the charge could not go through. All of this was communicated to you by the agent.

I am rejecting this response because: this is FALSE. I called once earlier this year on the following date ( 04/16/2022 at 12:37pm)I called yesterday on 10/11/2022 at 10:34AM spoke with someone name **** and received a cancelation number. I called back again yesterday on 10/11/2022 at 10:37AM to let **** (who was obviously very rude) know that it does not show canceled on my end via Fixd app.

10/10/2022 I was emailed a solicitation to purchase FIXD device. No indication of a subsequent subscription was provided. Actual cost was higher than advertised. Not easy to cancel purchase made via PayPal. No address of business provided. Very shady.Business Response

Our address is provided in this complaint and is also available on our website and it is available on our ****** business profile. The subscription is not required to use the sensor, but it is needed for some additional features in the app. If you do not want the additional features, you do not need to purchase the subscription. Additionally, we have a discounted price on the sensor being offered at this moment, but if you do not apply the discount, then the sensor will be listed at full price.

I am an Air Force Veteran and while I was deployed overseas in *********** my teenage son (MINOR) purchased this product in 2020 without realizing that this included an auto renewal subscription in the amount of $69.I did not catch the charge for the 2021 renewal but I did the 2022 charge. I contacted them and explained the situation and was pretty much told S**** OFF as the terms and conditions did not allow any refunds etc. *********** also advised me they had sent renewal emails as well. I responded and advised them this was an unauthorized purchase by my teenage son. I advised them that a minor under the age of 18 cannot enter into a contract cannot legally enter into a contract and any contracts are null and void.I also forwarded the company a copy of all emails sent to me including all marketing as well as spam emails.Somehow there was no emails sent around either renewal timeframe. I was advised " Oh they must have gone in your spam folder" , yet the attatched copies of all emails recieved by me including spam and marketing emails. Again there was no emails sent around either timeframe. Its actually a shame as I liked the tool and even advised them such. The tool is a decent entry level device that is sold for about 20 bucks. Unfortunately this is the hook that they use for the scam to lure unsuspecting consumers into an unwanted scam subscription service that automatically renews that 1000"s of consumers have been duped by. When the fraud is discovered and the consumer complains they just say sorry no refunds but if you cancel we wont charge you again. Oddly enough I had already canceled my membership as soon as I saw the charge yet after my emails the company employee advised me that he had just canceled my membership. It appears this is a common scam employed by the company. AVOID THE **** THE $69 SUBSCRIPTION HAS VERY LITTLE TO NO BENIFIT OVER USING THE $20 TOOL WITHOUT A SUBSCRIPTION. UNFORTUNATELY MY COMPLAINT IS VERY COMMON!!Business Response

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter and thank you for working towards resolution.
This addresses part of the issue but avoids the accountability of the first renewal, which again I only recently discovered.
After a bit of research I can determine there was not a reminder email recieved for the first renewal.
Please find the enclosed attatchments and after review I believe You will realize that a refund is in order for the first renewal as well.
I believe that after reviewing you will find that there must have been an error on that notice and email as well.
Upon reciept of a refund for such I would be pleased with the Company response and I would feel then as I was treated fairly.

On July 28,2020 I (***********************) ordered a Fixd Automotive device for $35.00. under the name ************************* using the email *************** I received my device without issues. On August 16,2021 My Credit card was charged for $69.99 for a premium subscription that I never signed up for or ask for. The only source of contact I could find was their support email. So I immediately emailed them and told them to cancel any subscription and refund my money back to my credit card account. NOW this year on August 16,2022 I have received another credit card charge for $69.99 for a premium subscription. I have emailed them again to day 8/16/2022 telling them to cancel me and refund my money back to my credit card. I'm tired of this hassle and don't understand why they make communication with their company so difficult. Money was taken out of my account without my consent-$69.99. I was charged an overdraft fee of $35.00 from my bank, which was when I saw that FIXD Automotive withdrew the $69.99 from my checking account. The withdrawal was made without my authorization. I emailed the company FIXD Automotive, *** requesting a refund because money was taken FIXD Automotive was on my account The email from FIXD Automotive stated I signed up for premium services for 1 year in July 2020. This transaction was taken out of my checking account in July, 2022-two years later.I would like my $69.99 refunded, along with the overdraft fee.I have attached email correspondence between me and the representative, regarding the withdrawal.Business Response

Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the subscription because it is a renewal. When you signed up for the subscription you agreed to the yearly auto renewal of $69.99. Based on our email records, you received the renewal emails, which include the refund policy, along with instructions on how to cancel the subscription yourself. We send these emails a week before and a day before the subscription renews. Additionally, it appears you have been using the subscription in the past 30 days.

I am rejecting this response because: Please check your records again. It should be illegal for a company to take money out of peoples accounts without their consent or notice. No email was received, your company stole my money directly from my account. Please send me your records for clarity and refund my money.I've read the other complaints from consumers. They are exactly like mine. Your company stole my money and is doing the same to others. FIXD Automotive can't keep getting away with this-something needs to be done, like a class action suit.

Attached is a screenshot showing the previously attached email was received and opened prior to the renewal date. Additionally, upon subscribing, consent was given for the recurring billing. We follow the standards put in place by many subscription based services that automatically **** on the renewal date. We also try our best to give the customer the benefit of the doubt, but unfortunately we are not able to make an exception to our policy in this case.
