This issue occurred on 3/29/25 close to 7pm. My partner and I passing through the area and decided to stop at a plaza planning on trying a coffee shop. We realized a friend was in the area near ************* and decided to walk to find them to avoid getting back in traffic then we were returning to the shop to try together. We were gone for about half an hr. to 45 minutes by the time we reached the friend so they gave us a ride back and we arrived to discover a boot on my car. There was a small sign posted on my driver window to call the number and pay for the service to remove the boot. I call and the guy, and older white male, was waiting on us parked in the back end of the parking lot telling me it would be $75 to remove the boot. We explain to him we are not from the area and were just passing through, nor did we see any signage on being parked illegally. He then pointed to where signage was posted which were in areas and walked us to where we entered the lot for the entrance sign. These signs had extremely small print and are placed in inconvenient places as if they were made to miss. We assured the guy that had we seen the sign we would not have parked but he became very rude, condescending, and claimed that thousands of people have our same story and we requested a warning he said no one gets a warning and that the signs comply with city code. He then disrespectfully interrupted us saying he's not trying to stand there all day and walked off until we paid. The street is very busy and once we had the chance to pull into the lot there was no chance of seeing the entrance signage nor the sign slanted toward the opposite side of the building that we parked which also was very small in print. The only sign that has clear bold black font regarding parking is towards the ground which will automatically be missed if you are in a car.Initial Complaint

The incident occurred around 5 pm on Thursday, December 26. We parked in a parking lot where there were no signs indicating parking rules. There was one sign that noted parking was private, but it did not include who or who could not park there. It said no vehicles could be illegally or improperly parked, but did not specify what constitutes illegality or improperness. A security guard watched us park there and did not alert us to the meaning of the sign. Instead, they booted the car when we walked off to ****** funds for their private business. The sign was also in font so small it was illegible. We would have parked somewhere else if we knew parking there was illegal. Unfortunately, there was no way to know.Initial Complaint

I called the number to get my cars boot off and he said great someone will be there in 5-10 minutes. The boss I later found out then called me on a different number and harassed me asking me why I parked my car there in a very aggressive tone to where I hung up because I was genuinely scared. I thought I was one of the business owners. I then called the booting company back asking the *** and if he had given my number to one of the store owners he said no that was me I asked him why he called me back just to harass me about a parking space and he then accused me of speaking slow his words exactly and was going to call the police on me. I was genuinely scared of his tone of voice. I hope NO ONE has to experience this ever. Especially over a silly parking space.Initial Complaint

I went down to atlanta to have a meal and visit **************there's a small sub place nearby the park called ******* CheeseSteaks, the building is in the middle of a 3 way crossroad and parking was a little tricky.just across the street was an area called 985 Midtown connection. there were some shops and a parking lot with a lot of empty spaces. being unfamiliar to the area, the difficult parking space made me park inside that area, went across to get lunch. upon returning, I was planning to get coffee or gelato from one of the shops within the arcade. while exiting my car, i saw another car marked with Atlanta Parking Solutions LLC and a man was sitting inside of it.he saw me and my friend walk out of the car, and go walk across the street, but gave me no warning of whatsoever that I'm not allowed to park here. as soon as we left, it took us less than 30 mins to return to the car just to find out there was a boot and a tag placed on the window.I called the number, he got out from a nearby food place, asked for $75.Since I am not from here, and I don't know how things work around here, I was confused and paid upfront with my card. but after calmly thinking over what happened, I am upset that he never told me that im not supposed to park even though he saw me walk out of my car, there were not enough visible signs to warn people about the parking.although I had intentions of shopping within the arcade after coming back from lunch,I had to pay up. I left the place being totally upset. This is unjust and unnecessary a private company just bullies over unaware peopleInitial Complaint

Hello I do **** eats part-time today I was given a boot on my vehicle because there wasn't any parking in your parking lot upon me arriving which cost me $75 I'm contacting you about a reimbursement I was not there long the order I was picking up was huge order with about 10 cheese steaks so it took about maybe 10 minutes I sat outside on the concrete wall adjacent parking lot from your restaurant and within a matter of it seems like minutes was putting a boot on my car boot on my vehicle what can we do to rectify the situation so that I am reimbursed? Not only that he admitted that he seen me watching my vehicle and waited for me to go inside of the restaurant to put a boot on my vehicle that is predatory.Response from the restaurant via Instagram: "We're very sorry for your experience today. We have no control over the property next door"That's fine you not having control over the property next door but the problem is that it wasn't any parking at your establishment. Where am I supposed to park if there's no parking at your establishment?I'm not sure if this is the management or someone running your social media page however, I can see that you read my message and did not respond... I can only assume that you don't want to accept accountability for "my experience today" due to your lack of inadequate parking at your establishment which many customers complained about today when I inform them not to park in the parking lot across from your establishment I save at least six of your customers $75 boots you all should do better at informing people where to park at your establishment since you have limited parking. This is about principle an accountability on your behalf as an ********************** response:" Again, we're sorry for your experience at our neighbor's property. They have signage everywhere, notifying the public that if you park and leave the property, your vehicle will be towed or booted. They are aggressive in their enforcement.Initial Complaint

I am writing to Report a disgraceful act by Atlanta parking solutions LLC. I was booted within 30 seconds of parking my car and checking to see if there was an error in my parking. There were no signs that stated that I could not park for the vendor right across the street. The sign states you will be booted if you leave the property but it doesnt designate what property the lot is associated with. I parked and walked across the street to ask the vendor if I could park there and when they said no, I walked right back to move my vehicle, and the man was hiding behind my car and booting it as I Was sitting in my vehicle getting ready to move it. Within 30 seconds of literally walking across the street and coming back, the man had already booted my vehicle. There was not a single sign in the spot that I parked that said that I had to be a customer of Caribou and not the vendor across the street. I did not park to pick up a To-Go order like the rude man accused me of doing. I was parking to be a patron at a restaurant that was immediately across the street. The very rude man who booted my vehicle also accused me of going to a vape shop with two of my children, which was disrespectful and uncalled for and clearly a lie, because I was taking my children to have breakfast at **************. There was not a single sign that stated the parking spot was for Caribou only. Across the street the same sign that states parking is for customers only clearly has the vendors listed for whom the parking is designated for. This man is hiding, immediately attacking personal property, and abusing people that make honest mistakes without even a 1 minute grace ******* This is abuse and fraud.Initial Complaint

On 02/25/2023 around 2:00pm I was booted even though there was a sign saying parking is allowed as long as certain businesses are utilized. I used a **** of America ATM which was one of the businesses on the sign. Not only that but Chapter 162, Article ** ******* ******* of the City of Atlanta Code of Ordinances states that he cannot legally charge us more than $45 per day. He charged me $75 despite the fact that I used one of the businesses listed in the parking lot signageInitial Complaint

On 11/20, I was booted in the parking lot for ************** in midtown at *****************. with multiple other cars. The man in charge of the booting charged each of us $75 for removal of the boot.
